Baby intercom system and what to watch out for during use

1. Do not place the baby unit inside the crib, nor in a spot where the baby can grab it with their hands. On the other hand, the further away you place it, the more the sound clarity decreases. Conduct tests and place the unit at the farthest point from the child, from where the device can still pick up even the lowest sounds and transmit them clearly.
2. The baby should not be able to reach the device's connection/charging cables. Ensure they do not have access to them.
3. Check if the parent unit goes out of range, runs out of battery, or is on mute or low volume while it is not in your line of sight. The out-of-range or battery replacement/recharging alert functions that many intercom systems have are useful in this regard.

    Use in a three-story house, with the camera on the 3rd floor, the monitor reaches up to the middle of the stairs between the 1st and 2nd floors. The 50m indoors do not apply in any case.
    The night vision for a camera of 180€ is unacceptable. A simple security camera of 50€ has a better image. It looks somewhat better in sunlight.
    Two main negatives that make me regret the purchase. Not worth the money.

    Update: one star after not even a year because the charging plug broke, resulting in it becoming completely useless. Money wasted.

    In us, the camera's communication with the monitor is lost at random times and within range (with good signal). Even if the camera and the monitor are side by side, one still cannot see the other. The only way to restore communication is to open and close the camera unit... and this becomes quite annoying at night when we wake up from the warning sound and have to go to the child's room just to open and close the camera. For as long as the units are connected, they function quite satisfactorily.
