It's puzzling.. the resistor and the switch failed almost at the same time after two years. I have a no-name one that cost 15 euros and it has been working for 11 years.

2000 watts? It shouldn't even give 200. It doesn't even work for toasting, it takes about a quarter of an hour to cook the bottom side, if that. I tried to cook meat once and got bored in half an hour. All of this at maximum intensity, of course. I have used 15 toasters, all were better and none cost even half as much.

The watermelon is a dud, it goes to recycling. It burned out the resistor, it burned out the thermostat, it went for repair twice. Now it doesn't turn on at all. What a waste of money. It's not worth it, no comparison to the Bosch products I knew.

In 6 months, the rotary switch broke and of course the on-off function as well. After three months, it never worked again! Money wasted.

Very beautiful construction for a toaster (red). This one has a switch for the plates, so there is no problem that some people mention about different temperatures between the top and bottom plate. It toasts evenly. However, because our supermarkets are filled with bread for sandwiches - spongy bread, the weight of the toaster presses it down and it is not nicely toasted. Just find a bread that is specifically made for toasting and you will have the right result. The durability of the resistors and thermostat in such devices, regardless of the brand, is a matter of luck. It is easy to clean. The price is a major disadvantage. With the same features (sandwich maker, removable plates), there are cheaper options but they are clearly of lower quality. Look at the switch on an izzy and you will understand.

Medium quality, I would say it's Chinese. After 3 years of use, the bottom plate stopped working. I would not recommend it.

From the first glance, it seems to be a quality construction, but almost every year the thermostat burns out and immediately burns whatever you put on it, making it dangerous. The first time it was repaired under warranty, the second time it was not. The previous one was the same, lasted 5 years, used every day for making 4 sandwiches for children simultaneously. At least when it was working, it was big and practical, hopefully it had better quality.

Very slow, different temperature on the top and bottom plate, the thermostat broke and it almost caught fire (replaced under warranty), overall the quality has nothing to do with the Bosch brand.

If you want them for toast until your craving passes....
As a grill, not my opinion.
They clean easily.
The red color is nice.
Oh, and I bought it for 40 euros, now it's not even worth it.

I bought the toaster two days ago. It couldn't toast a sandwich. I had to constantly open it because it kept turning off. I would not buy it again

I have it for about a year. I toast every day. It's amazing. It doesn't make the toast "soggy" like the others. It makes them crispy in 5 minutes on level 4. It's very powerful. I have also grilled sausages. They grilled evenly, just took 1 hour. Well, it's not a grill. The grooves for the fat to drain into the containers are very convenient. It easily toasts 4 slices. It can be cleaned with a cloth if there are crumbs, and in case of other food, the plates can be removed, washed, and easily repositioned. It can be stored upright if there is no space because it has safety locks on the right and left sides. I am very satisfied. It's worth it. I recommend it.

Garbage.. in a year and a half with moderate use, mainly for toasts and pitas, the thermostat broke.. even the toasting process is delayed..
It doesn't grill meats well, so the description "grill" is rejected.. it's not worth its money.. overall, Boss has had some issues with their devices.

Nothing impressive as a device. Except for the build quality and design, which are mediocre especially considering its price. What particularly tired me out is that it takes a long time to toast. I understand it even better now that I replaced it with an aritte. I wouldn't buy it again for anything

It is good and fast. It cooks food quite well. It is elegant if that matters to some, but that's about it... I didn't see anything impressive, I didn't see the improvement I was expecting from the previous one, which lasted about 8 years of regular use. Unfortunately, this one only lasted 4 months, hence the low rating. I wouldn't recommend it! There are many others just as good if not better for the same price.

P.S. With the warranty, the store gave me a replacement which has lasted 1 year so far. So, the previous one was probably defective.

The best so far.... it grills meat and vegetables very well. The toast is incredibly crispy and evenly cooked. Cleaning is very easy. The only downside is that it takes up a little more space than usual. Honest value for money.

Finally on 10/2/23 went for recycling...
Stay away from this product.

Update:
On 15/12/22, one of the resistors burned. Cost of 15€ with an imitation replacement. For the money I paid, I expected it to be more durable...

It is for 4 sandwiches. The thermostat has a high tolerance (takes time to provide power once it reaches the desired temperature) and therefore makes fluffy sandwiches. For crispy ones, I put them directly on slightly warm plates. It compresses them due to its weight. Grease the plates with oil after the first wash and forget about cleaning! (With a simple kitchen paper).
I put frozen pitas directly without any problem (so far...).
Overall, it's worth its money. We only use it for sandwiches, pitas, and bread, so I don't have an opinion on meat.
It takes up a lot of space and doesn't have a bottom handle.
