It works perfectly, as soon as you connect it to the phone, go to settings > connections > mobile hotspot and tethering, and the option "Tethering via Ethernet" turns on. We select it to be on, and our phone provides internet to the device we connect it to.

Πολλοί το αγοράζουν για να δίνουν στο λάπτοπ τους ή στο κινητό τους internetεσω καλωδίου. εγώ το αγόρασα για τον ανάποδο λόγο, για να δώσω από τα data του κινητού μου internet μέσω καλωδίου σε σε υπολογιστή και συγκεκριμένα σε περιφερειακό με καλώδιο ethernet.
Δουλεύει λοιπόν μια χαρά, με το που το συνδέεις στο κινητό, πας στις ρυθμίσεις >συνδέσεις>mobile hotspot και tethering και ανάβει η επιλογή "Tethering μέσω ethernet" την επιλέγουμε στο on και το κινητό μας δίνει internet στην συσκευή που το συνδέουμε.

Of course, it was my own stupidity to think that it would work if I connect it to the hub I have, but the hub doesn't support ethernet through type c, so it only works if I connect it directly (obviously the hub has a "problem" - not the adapter, but I'm just saying it as a thought).
I didn't see any difference in speed, to be honest, but it's likely because my internet connection is really slow :-(

βέβαια δικιά μου βλακεία θεώρησα πως θα παίζει και αν το συνδεθώ στο χαμπακι που έχω, αλλά το χαμπακι δε υποστηρίζει ethernet μέσω type c οπότε μόνο αν το συνδέεω απευθείας δουλευει (προφανως "προβλημα" εχει το χαμπακι - οχι ο μετατροπέας αλλα το λεω σα σκεψη)
Διαφορά στην ταχύτητα δεν είδα να είμαι ειλικρινής αλλά πιθανό να είναι επειδή η γραμμή μου είναι πραγματικά πολύ αργή :-(
It probably has to do with the nature of the interface, many times it requires a reboot to the Mac in order to work and switch the dhcp from wifi to ethernet.
Μάλλον έχει να κάνει με τη φύση της διασύνδεσης, πολλές φορές θέλει reboot to mac για να παίξει και να γυρίσει το dhcp από το wifi στο ethernet.

Very good. It does an amazing job on my old Android 9 mobile phone and my wife's iPhone 11. It connects directly and reaches almost the speed that the router provides, without any loss. The wifi in front of it is like a snail.

I bought it for Android and tested it between a computer and a mobile phone using a direct cable connection (with IP connectors) through the iperf 3 program. Due to the mobile phone, it reached speeds of 180~190 Mbps on a computer with a type-c connection, it will definitely reach higher speeds. What concerns me a little is the durability of the cable, if it will withstand the weight and the use of the UDP cable, especially since I will be using it with a mobile phone.

Αυτο που με ανησυχει λιγο ειναι η ενωση του καλωδιου του ,αν θα αντεξει λογο του οτι θα στιριζεται το βαρος του και το καλωδιο udp εφοσον θα το χρησιμοποιω σε κινητο.
It arrived and I tried it on an Android mobile phone. It was intended to be used with a Lenovo tablet, but with disappointment, I realized the difference between micro USB and type-C ports. New mobile phones have type-C, while older ones have micro USB (which is also the case with the tablet in question).
Certainly, it is not the fault of this miraculous little device that I connected to the Ethernet socket with the mobile phone, which I turned into a hotspot and thus the tablet got internet connection. Despite the makeshift solution, there was no disconnection at all, and everything worked perfectly for 4 consecutive hours. Until that moment, the tablet could not connect to that area due to weak signal from the router.
In short, it solved my problem!
Ήρθε και το δοκίμασα σε κινητό android. Προοριζόταν βέβαια να χρησιμοποιηθεί με tablet lenovo, αλλά με πίκρα διαπίστωσα τη διαφορά micro usb από την type-c θύρα. Τα νέα κινητά έχουν type-c , ενώ τα παλαιότερα έχουν τη micro usb (τέτοια έχει και το εν λόγω tablet).
Σίγουρα δεν φταίει το θαυματουργό αυτό πραγματάκι που συνέδεσα στην ethernet πρίζα με το κινητό , το οποίο μετέτρεψα σε hot spot κι έτσι πήρε το tablet δίκτυο. Παρόλη την πατέντα δεν υπήρξε καμία απολύτως αποσύνδεση κι όλα δούλεψαν ρολόι για 4 ώρες συνεχόμενα. Μέχρι εκείνη τη στιγμή δεν μπορούσε να συνδεθεί το εν λόγω tablet σε εκείνο το χώρο λόγω ασθενούς σήματος από το router.

It arrived and I tried it on an Android mobile phone. It was intended to be used with a Lenovo tablet, but with disappointment, I realized the difference between micro USB and type-C ports. New mobile phones have type-C, while older ones have micro USB (which is also the case with the tablet in question).
Certainly, it is not the fault of this miraculous little device that I connected to the Ethernet socket with the mobile phone, which I turned into a hotspot and thus the tablet got internet connection. Despite the makeshift solution, there was no disconnection at all, and everything worked perfectly for 4 consecutive hours. Until that moment, the tablet could not connect to that area due to weak signal from the router.
In short, it solved my problem!
Ήρθε και το δοκίμασα σε κινητό android. Προοριζόταν βέβαια να χρησιμοποιηθεί με tablet lenovo, αλλά με πίκρα διαπίστωσα τη διαφορά micro usb από την type-c θύρα. Τα νέα κινητά έχουν type-c , ενώ τα παλαιότερα έχουν τη micro usb (τέτοια έχει και το εν λόγω tablet).
Σίγουρα δεν φταίει το θαυματουργό αυτό πραγματάκι που συνέδεσα στην ethernet πρίζα με το κινητό , το οποίο μετέτρεψα σε hot spot κι έτσι πήρε το tablet δίκτυο. Παρόλη την πατέντα δεν υπήρξε καμία απολύτως αποσύνδεση κι όλα δούλεψαν ρολόι για 4 ώρες συνεχόμενα. Μέχρι εκείνη τη στιγμή δεν μπορούσε να συνδεθεί το εν λόγω tablet σε εκείνο το χώρο λόγω ασθενούς σήματος από το router.

I use it on my MacBook and it works very well. Very good materials and a good fit in the port. The only thing I will comment on is that after I open the laptop, which was in sleep mode, it doesn't work. I don't know if it's a setting issue with the Mac OS (Ventura 13.4) or the adapter. I just mention it.
I have also tried it on a Xiaomi mobile phone and it works perfectly.
Τον χρησιμοποιώ στο macbook και δουλεύει πολύ καλά. Πολύ καλά υλικά και καλό κούμπωμα στη θύρα. Το μόνο που θα σχολιάσω είναι ότι μετά που θα ανοίξω το laptop το οποίο ήταν σε sleep mode, δεν λειτουργεί. Δεν γνωρίζω αν είναι θέμα ρυθμίσεων του mac os (Ventura 13.4) ή του αντάπτορα. Απλά το αναφέρω.
Επίσης το έχω δοκιμάσει και σε κινητό xiaomi και δουλεύει άψογα.
Flawless, it does the job for which it was purchased. Simple, minimalist, and without any disconnections or connection issues for many months.
Άψογο, κάνει τη δουλειά για την οποία αγοράστηκε. Απλο, λιτό κι χωρίς να έχει κάνει αποσύνδεση ή να έχει δημιουργήσει πρόβλημα στη σύνδεση εδώ και πολλούς μήνες.
