I am completely dissatisfied with this specific dynamometer, I have already requested a return. The readings it gave me seemed very low. I used kettlebells and known mass discs (4, 6, 10, and 20 kg respectively) and straps to check the accuracy of the device. By measuring slowly and carefully at 4, 6, 10, 20, and 40 kg, I got readings of 0.5, 1.8, 5.3, 14, and 28 kg respectively (average values of 3 measurements). Obviously, it cannot be used for its intended purpose. It is possible that the specific dynamometer I received is defective. However, it does not appear to have a sturdy construction or a reliably designed, whatever the case may be. It is not random that the immediately more expensive one available on skroutz.gr has triple the price, while the next model of the same company has more than five times the price.

Otherwise, the dynamometer retains the maximum force value and does not have a protective plastic on the dial, so that the needle can return to the initial position manually. The position of the handle is adjustable to accommodate different hand sizes, but it completely unscrews before reaching the lowest marked position on the device. Additionally, the indications of the device depend on the position of the handle, even when suspending known weights with a strap, from the center of the handle, which should not happen.

For its price, it is excellent. It does its job perfectly and accurately. The only negative is that it does not have a glass in front of the dial and may need a case.

The only disadvantage is that it has a plastic casing and requires careful handling during transportation. However, it is the most economical and reliable option you can get in this category
