The image is decent. It has a clear picture without lines, noise, or shaking. The problem for me is the partial absence of colors. I appear relatively black and white in moderate to low lighting conditions. The colors do not improve significantly in rich lighting. They remain "pale".
The sound quality is good, relatively. The speaker can hear clearly if you speak from a distance of up to one meter, at most. Otherwise, you will have to speak louder.
The base is very good and smart. It can be attached to screens or "sit" on its base.
It does not come with software. You connect it and the operating system installs the drivers on its own (after an hour of searching). It was tested and quickly recognized as a "General Webcam" on Windows 7 and 10.
Lastly, let's talk about the cable. The sound and image are transmitted through the single USB 2 cable. Fortunately, it does not have a separate cable for the microphone. It is about a meter long. It's fine.
