The most important characteristic of Aquasystem expansion tanks is the interchangeable EPDM membrane, which allows for replacement and maintenance, contributing to a longer lifespan.

In the event of emptying or depressurization of the tank, closure or blockage of the supply nipple may occur, resulting in incomplete emptying of the tank contents. The use of these membranes prevents such occurrences.

With the same nominal volume and operating under the same conditions, the tank with an interchangeable membrane moves a larger volume of water in each operation cycle (typically 50-60% of the nominal volume), achieving greater efficiency in the installation with fewer pump interventions, saving energy.
