Owner of the Francis X7.1 as well, the coffee from the Y3.3 is almost the same, perhaps with slightly less body. But it is much more convenient due to its size, the way the capsule is loaded and ejected, and the faster preheating time.

Excellent coffee maker. I have also bought it for my rentals in Andros (androssummerhouse), in white and peach, and I am very satisfied!

Very good machine, for those who write about expensive coffee... it's illy guys, not Greek coffee or Nescafe... with €0.6 per coffee you save €1.6 to €2 if you get it from outside...

I have an earlier version of the Y3 and has been working perfectly since 2016.
My only issue with this new one is that it vibrates excessively and as a result tends to move around when working. Old one doesn't. I don't know why.

It's good for the money. I would like the part that holds the cup to be a bit better. Maybe a bit more quality or bigger

My girlfriend received it in chaos, and as soon as she took it out of the box, she pressed whatever and messed it up. I pressed the espresso button, and it ran for 2 seconds, so I put in an espresso capsule and pressed the filter button and drank watery coffee. I thought, okay, a 100 euro machine, what did you expect, wasted money.
Days later, I looked a bit at the user manual, found out how to reset it, did it, and suddenly the machine makes AMAZING COFFEE!!!!!
I've tried Nespresso, and it's trash compared to the result of this one!!!!

The coffee maker makes very good coffee in terms of taste! Personally, however, after 2 years of use, I replaced it with another coffee maker because the capsules it takes are very expensive and it requires 2 capsules for a satisfactory amount of coffee for a cappuccino, so it was costing me a lot each month since I used it daily.

I had bought it on sale from a branded supermarket. I bought many illy capsules and as a promotion, you got the espresso machine. I don't know if this particular one had a problem, but the coffee was very little, not even half of a small espresso, even when pressing the button for double espresso. Personally, I used 2 capsules to satisfy the amount of coffee, which cost me €1.20 (€0.60x2). The taste of the coffee was nothing special, much inferior to that of the stores outside. Another problem was that when I pressed the button for double espresso, one time it would give me a normal double espresso and the other time it wouldn't. It went for recycling and I was relieved.

It is the most value for money coffee maker. Yes, okay. It has expensive capsules, but by making coffee with it, you don't need to buy from outside anymore

Compared to the previous one with exactly the same capsules, the coffee comes out much better and here comes the difference of the machine

I bought it almost for free!!!! There was a offer from Masoutis with eight boxes of capsules, the machine was a gift!!!! The only thing I don't know is if it accepts tablets from another company

The best coffee!!!!! The device is simple, makes minimal noise, I have had it for 6 months and it has no problems at all! It only takes specific illy capsules, but it is the highest quality available on the market and I bought it just for that! There is a variety of coffee types available online for anyone who wants it, but in supermarkets, there are only 2 types.

We have had 5 pieces pass through our hands. 4 of them have issues with leaks.

I have bought three (home, office, vacation house) and one more as a gift for a friend! The coffee it produces can easily be compared to the coffee offered in cafes. Few flavors unfortunately from the company, but whatever Illy produces from its blend is serious. It also has capsules for lungo and French coffee. Everything is excellent! Very fair cost ratio of the machine and capsules with quality, flavor, and speed of preparation. Compared to capsules from other machines I have tried, I wouldn't change it for anything.

The closing of the device with two fingers on its two buttons is not convenient and requires holding the device with the other hand, otherwise it moves from its position and does not close.
In all other aspects, it is a very satisfactory machine, but they failed to solve the problem of power interruption by moving the button from its position in the Y3.2.

In the times we live in, it is especially worth having a coffee machine because it significantly reduced the cost of ordering coffee outside. The coffee is great, I had it even before about seven years ago in Athens, and I believe it is completely value for money

The only thing that disappointed me as well is that it is not compatible with capsules from other manufacturers and you have to buy the package at a cost of 10€+ (18 pieces). Otherwise, it has no difference with the coffee we drink outside, it is like a professional one without having to do anything. However, if I knew about the compatibility issue, I might have resorted to another option.

After daily use for 2 years (and after a coffee machine that was destroyed by limescale despite cleaning it with citric acid, vinegar, descaler for coffee machines (!), and whatever else the store recommended), I have to say that I wouldn't change it for anything. Perfect coffee every time, a variety of flavors from the company. In the first year, I used only bottled water, and in the second year, tap water (Athens). It never needed descaling, and the taste of the coffee never changed. I plan to buy another one for my father's house.

The only negative is the noise, the plastic of the capsule, and the cost per capsule, but honestly, it cannot be compared to coffee from other companies.

The only positive thing I would say is the quality of the coffee, which is particularly flavorful. Otherwise, there is no compatibility with other capsules whatsoever, and the capsules are quite expensive compared to all the others available for Nespresso machines. In terms of technical aspects, the machine is very poor. I had purchased it in the past, and it broke very quickly. I bought it again along with descaling sachets, hoping it would help, but it still broke. It is definitely not worth buying. Additionally, with the new design where the on/off button was removed and you simply have to press and hold both buttons to turn it off, there is a problem because it is difficult to press both buttons simultaneously, resulting in water running. Overall, I wonder if the machine's design was done by individuals who are knowledgeable about the subject.

Illy guarantee, what else can I say.

Update October 16th 22: After a year of use, I bought a second device for another space. Completely satisfied with its performance, I highly recommend it without hesitation!

This model works very well so far (with the previous one I had a problem with the cable).
The coffee is good and the varieties are sufficient.
The price could be somewhat cheaper, but it is good because it comes with several capsules as a gift.

Terrible machine, it broke down so I took it for service but it still leaks drop by drop. I threw it away and they never offer any discounts on the capsules

It makes very good and high-quality coffee.
You can adjust the quantity it produces in the espresso, for example, instead of 10ml, it can give you 20ml.
It has a variety of blends.
Compared to Nespresso coffee, there is no comparison for me, illy makes much better coffee.
I was so satisfied that I bought a second one for my workplace and significantly reduced my coffee consumption outside.

In the comments, it is important to write something that will help the next interested person understand whether they want to buy this particular product or not.
In short, the coffee machine is the best choice for espresso coffee in capsule form in terms of quality (taste) of coffee, but for someone who has money.
And this is because it is only compatible with illy's iperespresso capsules (which cost about 50 cents each, even in the largest packages that one can find online) which, as you can understand, are very expensive. They are not compatible with all the others and there is not a wide variety of other, cheaper capsule brands that are compatible with it (even though Lidl produces capsules for Nespresso machines). So, like me, we bought it and now it is idle.

Very good machine, although I believe that the previous one I had, Y3, was better and of higher quality! Although it doesn't have the options for coffee and other beverages that other machines have, what matters is that in the end it makes excellent Illy coffee at 19 bars... by far the best in capsule coffee! I definitely recommend it!

Bought 1.5 months ago, it doesn't run... it simply drips drops and it doesn't even fill a finger in the small cup of the company... it's not as hot as it should be and it underwent descaling in case it improves. Sent for service, came back and after 3 coffees, same issues again... truly the WORST thing on the market!!!! Better to go for X 7.1 which has been working for acquaintances here for 12-13 years... that one is worth the 135 euros it costs.
