The Alderac board game Space Base is a fleet-management dice game in which players take on the role of space base commanders. They recruit new ships and assign them to one of the 12 sectors they oversee. With its “roll the dice and everyone wins” mechanic, players collect rewards every round, even when someone else is taking their turn.
Ships begin docked at their stations and are deployed to sectors as new ships are added to the fleet. Rewards include increased base income, credits for the next round, and influence. The game combines player boards with ship cards.
