No one should get confused and buy it thinking they will drink espresso. In no case. It is a heavy, full-bodied filter coffee. The pot is well made.

I don't have experience with this specific product, so my review will be about the coffee I made. The briki has a capacity of 4 cups. I used Dimello Gusto Espresso Dark roast coffee, the purple one, with a coffee capacity of 20g and the amount of coffee that came out was 96g. Compared to the espresso machine I have, the coffee came out much stronger!!! I used gas and not a stove. I put hot water in the briki and in a few minutes it was ready, unfortunately I didn't time it. TIP: hot water in the container and low heat for brewing.

Day 2. I put cold water directly and placed it on the gas. It was ready in 4 minutes. Be careful because the briki gets hot!!!

One negative point is that I would like a slightly bigger handle.

Coming from a different briki, slightly smaller in capacity, at first it annoyed me a lot because the coffee would burn every time. I thought it was the briki's fault, but it actually just needs a very low fire (preferably a flame for better control) and to be extinguished long before all the water is emptied (about 1/4 of the water should remain at the bottom). With patience, it makes perfect mocha, but I find it too expensive, it should be priced under 20€.

Nice coffee and full-bodied! Traditionally made Italian espresso.
For coffee at home, it is one of the best purchases! Unless you are wealthy and willing to spend around 500 euros for a decent machine....

It does what it was purchased for. It cannot match the taste of a machine, but the result is quite satisfactory. The only negative is that the quantity it produces is not the one it should, for example, the cup can hold a maximum of 12 grams of coffee, which according to the characteristics of the briki corresponds to 4 cups. However, my acquaintance who owns a café uses 16 grams for a freddo espresso, so you can understand the difference. If I were to buy it again, I would choose the briki with 6 cups.
