    It is not suitable for microwave ovens, it alters the taste of the food, making it taste like plastic. It also wears out in the dishwasher, causing white spots. I wonder why it is advertised as suitable for microwaves/dishwashers. If you only want it for storage and hand washing, it's okay, it closes well in that aspect. But it's not what is being promoted.
