CL-CDC-1: I liked that it uses 4x1.5V=6Volts batteries (and rechargeable ones). In manual mode it works with off/on, while for motion it works on auto. If you want, you can cut it off from the center. It is not dimmable. Unfortunately, it does not have a dusk (night) sensor, so it is for use all 24 hours. In a box for 9€.

Very good quality, waterproof with good adhesive. Installed in the bathroom on the automatic setting and it lights up perfectly with the sensor. It requires 4 AAA batteries; time will tell how long they last.
Update: Unfortunately, as another user mentioned, it doesn't detect whether there is already light or not, so it turns on every time it senses movement even if there is daylight, and the batteries drain very quickly. It should at least have the option for USB power

I put new rechargeable batteries, 800mAh each, but they don't last long. I put them in a kitchen and turn them on for a few hours at night. The battery lasts a maximum of 2 days.
Εβαλα καινούριες επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες 800mAh η μία, δεν κρατάει όμως πολύ. Τα έβαλα σε κουζίνα και τα ανάβω για κάποιες ώρες το βράδυ. Κρατάει η μπαταρία το πολύ 2 μέρες.
Very good gadget, I have placed it at the bottom of the bed so that if I get up at night, the light turns on and I can see. It has very good lighting, especially at the beginning. Imagine, I have had it for 6 months with the same batteries, and only now has the brightness started to decrease a little and it doesn't blind you at night. :)

I have some of these, and I have them stuck horizontally downwards on wood. One of them came off at some point, but I put it back and it has been in place ever since. I have been using them for about six months and I haven't seen any wear and tear (at least not yet)
