Dwight roams the place where a "clean-up" took place, at a small restaurant called the Olympian Palace. At the bar, he tries to gather information from Peggy, who works there. From her, he learns about Bruno, a completely "honest" and "decent" hitman who was killed by Vito, the nephew of Don Mallioti, a crime boss also steeped in illegality and "charities." Don Mallioti executed Bruno because of his beloved niece's death, and because while we may be scoundrels, family is family. Dwight assesses his options and lays out a plan of action to face Don Mallioti.
Dwight's motivation behind all this is the stray bullet that continued on its path when Vito aimed at the dog, with the fatal consequence of hitting one of the girls in the city while she was on the phone looking for some support. This story follows the same line as the previous ones set in Sin City, recounting yet another episode of the sinful city.
At the core of this story lies a human plea, filled with emotion that the violent undercurrents of the city try to cover up unsuccessfully. The family values invoked by Don Mallioti - a gang disguised as a family, indifference to life for the sake of profit, seem to crumble in the face of Dwight's insistence to render "unto Caesar what is Caesar's."
