PhosNet is a granular iron oxide (GFO) with a porous surface and high binding capacity. It will quickly remove phosphates and silicates from both fresh and saltwater and will not release them back into the aquarium. It exhibits stronger binding than most competitive products and can reduce phosphates and silicates to very low levels. PhosNet also offers less dust and is easier to use than most competitive GFO products.
