The problem I had was that the urine would stick to the bottom of the tray even though it had clumped, so after a day the tray would start to smell and needed washing every two days. Since I started using this pellet, there is no smell at all, it clumps very well and doesn't stick to the bottom. The transition was very easy, I just added a bit of the old pellet and some bentonite inside to make it seem a bit familiar. The cats had no problem at all. It has a wood scent, which I prefer over artificial fragrances. It doesn't stick to their little paws, only if a piece comes out as they dig. Also, it lasts longer compared to other brands so it turns out to be a bit more economical.

I have 3 cats and a self-cleaning litter box that cleans 3 minutes after the cat goes. I have also tried tofu pellets from another company in combination with bentonite, but it seems that this particular one (smart pellet) suits my needs better. The problem I had was that the urine would stick to the bottom of the tray even though it had clumped, so after a day the tray would start to smell and needed washing every two days. Since I started using this pellet, there is no smell at all, it clumps very well and doesn't stick to the bottom. The transition was very easy, I just added a bit of the old pellet and some bentonite inside to make it seem a bit familiar. The cats had no problem at all. It has a wood scent, which I prefer over artificial fragrances. It doesn't stick to their little paws, only if a piece comes out as they dig. Also, it lasts longer compared to other brands so it turns out to be a bit more economical.

Εχω δοκιμάσει και tofu πελετ άλλης εταιρείας σε συνδιασμό με μπετονιτη, αλλά φαίνεται το συγκεκριμένο (smart pellet) να ταιριάζει καλύτερα στις δικές μου ανάγκες. Το πρόβλημα που είχα ήταν ότι τα ούρα κολλούσαν στον πάτο της λεκάνης παρόλο που είχαν σβολιασει και έτσι μετά από μια μέρα άρχιζε να μυρίζει η λεκάνη και ήθελε κάθε δύο μέρες πλύσιμο. Από όταν χρησιμοποίησα το συγκεκριμένο πέλλετ δεν υπάρχει καμία μυρωδιά, φουσκώνει πολύ καλά και δεν κολλάει στον πάτο. η μετάβαση έγινε πολύ εύκολα, απλά συμπλήρωσα μέσα λίγο από το παλιό πελετ και λίγο μπετονιτη για να φανεί λίγο οικείο. κανένα πρόβλημα δεν είχαν οι γάτες. έχει μια μυρωδιά ξύλου, που την προτιμώ από το να έχει τεχνητά αρώματα. Δεν κολλάνε στα πατουσακια τους, μόνο αν βγει κανένα κομμάτι έξω όπως σκάβουν. Επίσης κρατάει περισσότερο σε σχέση με άλλες εταιρείες οπότε βγαίνει και λίγο πιο οικονομικό.
The best pellet by far, it clumps very well, doesn't raise dust, and most importantly, it's biodegradable, which means it doesn't clog the drains, for those who have toilets on the balcony.
Το καλύτερο pellet με διαφορά , σβολιάζει πολύ καλά , δε σηκώνει σκόνη και βασικότερο είναι βιοδιασπώμενο που σημαίνει ότι δεν βουλώνει τα σιφόνια , για όσους έχουν τις τουαλέτες στο μπαλκόνι .
Our little cat used the universal pellet from the same company until now that she has grown (8 months) and we tried the smart pellet. The transition happened immediately in one moment without needing an adjustment period.
Revelation! The urine turns into a semi-solid mound that is easily scooped up with the scoop after about 10-15 minutes. It can be safely disposed of in the drain. The poop, just like with the previous pellet, is easily collected with the scoop (but the product does not stick to it).
It smells like wood and I did not notice any other odor (of course, our cat buries it very well). It does scatter a bit around, since it is smaller pieces than the universal pellet, but in no way does it stick to her paws, nor does it get transported around the house. This is easily solved with a special cat litter mat.
It is true that it is much more expensive and gets used up relatively quickly (the 2.5 kg package barely filled a medium litter box). But the convenience it offers is significant. And it has nothing to do with sand and other harmful products.

Η γατούλα μας χρησιμοποιούσε το universal pellet της ίδιας εταιρείας μέχρι τώρα που μεγάλωσε (8 μηνών) και δοκιμάσαμε το smart pellet. Η μετάβαση έγινε άμεσα σε μία στιγμή χωρίς να χρειαστεί περίοδο προσαρμογής.
Αποκάλυψη! Τα ούρα γίνονται ημίσκληρο βουναλάκι που μαζεύεται πανεύκολα στο φτυαράκι μετά από περίπου 10-15'. Πετιούνται με ασφάλεια στην αποχέτευση. Τα κακά, όπως και με το προηγούμενο pellet, μαζεύονται εύκολα με φτυαράκι (αλλά το προϊόν δεν κολλάει επάνω τους).
Μυρίζει ξύλο και δεν διαπίστωσα καμία άλλη οσμή (βέβαια η γατούλα μας τα θάβει πολύ καλά). Πετάγεται λίγο γύρω γύρω, μιας και είναι μικρότερα κομμάτια από το universal pellet, αλλά σε καμία περίπτωση δεν κολλάει στα πατουσάκια της, ούτε μεταφέρεται στο υπόλοιπο σπίτι. Αυτό λύνεται εύκολα με ειδικό χαλάκι τουαλέτας γάτας.
Είναι αλήθεια ότι είναι πολύ πιο ακριβό και ξοδεύεται σχετικά γρήγορα (η συσκευασία των 2.5 kg ίσα που μισογέμισε μεσαία λεκάνη). Αλλά η ευκολία που προσφέρει είναι σημαντική. Και δεν έχει καμία σχέση με άμμο και άλλα επιβλαβή προϊόντα.
