Varietal composition: Augustiatiko.
Augustiatiko is a variety found in very specific locations, mainly on the western side of the Peloponnese, where there is an increase in newly cultivated areas with it. The area has some old vineyards with Augustiatiko, which local producers consider true treasures.
Given the rarity of the variety, single-varietal bottlings are hard to find. A very strict selection of grapes in mid-September aims to highlight the character of the variety.
Yields are up to 650 kg/acre.
Maturation in French barrels for 12 months and aging for 6 months in the bottle.
