Measurements:

• To determine the size, the circumference of the ankle over the bone, the circumference of the calf at the thickest point, and the height from the heel to the knee crease must be measured.
• Measurements should be taken in the morning, with the patient standing and not wearing any other socks.
• Length measurement should be taken from the back of the body.
