The risk didn't pay off for me. Poor quality in the produced video. There are times when the image breaks, artifacts are created, frames are lost, or there are even desyncs (image with horizontal lines or cut into four with the upper left part of the image being in the lower left corner). Even when it works properly, the exported video doesn't have smooth flow or good quality. You may also need to make adjustments that are not even found in the provided program as an option, but you have to open another file from the installation folder. I wouldn't recommend it for any reason. I used it with an old Hi8 Hitachi camcorder, which works fine and the video when connected to the TV is much better in quality compared to Hi8 tapes. Three different computers with specifications much higher than the recommended ones were used. Invest in something more expensive and if you find something, let us know because I wouldn't want to try something that doesn't work again.
