I got this particular stone for my kitchen knives, I'm not a professional but I cook all the time and I want my knives to cut well.

You definitely need to know how to use the stone properly to get the best result, but after a few tutorials on YouTube you can start practicing.

The combination of grits is very convenient, 1000 for knives that haven't been sharpened in a while, and then 3000 for polishing and maintenance.

Along with the stone comes a silicone base, which seems a bit useless to me but okay. I prefer to place the stone on a towel so it doesn't move while I use it.

An important note about the stone is that it needs to be soaked in water for a few minutes before use. You know it's ready when it stops releasing bubbles.

I am completely satisfied, my knives cut very well again!

Let me clarify that I am not a professional. I simply enjoy cooking. This is my first experience with sharpening stones and knives.

I "sharpened" four (4) Neoflam knives that we had purchased from the supermarket with coupons.
I put "sharpened" in quotes because it is my first time doing something like this, so it is definitely not perfect.

After 1-2 years of owning them, they were cutting well, but not as sharp as my Wasabi knife, my pride and joy.

I managed to make them cut very well. To be honest, I did not expect such a result.

The only complaint is with the base, which I would like to be a bit more stable because if you are a beginner, it can be a bit challenging.

    So:
    4/5 because I got what I expected.

I have been sharpening my knives for years with this stone.
Having tried other stones in the past, I believe that if you are an amateur and do not have an unlimited budget, it is a very good choice.

I have no point of comparison, so I cannot know if it is a better or worse product, nor am I a professional. The only thing I know is that with a little help from YouTube and the stone I bought, all my knives are sharp again
