The Hydro Tac dressing consists of foam material and a polyurethane cover film, which is gas-permeable, waterproof, and impermeable to microbes.

The side of the dressing that covers the wound is coated with hydrogel, which consists of an aqueous polycapramide/hybrid polyurethane polymer containing propylene glycol.

The Hydro Tac Sacral dressings have additional adhesive edges, coated with polyacrylate adhesive.

Properties and mode of action
  • Absorbs wound exudates.
  • Provides moisture to the wound in case of dehydration.
  • Creates a moist environment that activates the wound healing mechanism.
  • The gel prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound.
  • Removes painlessly and without residues.
Indications

The Hydro Tac dressing is indicated for the treatment of wounds with low to moderate exudates during the granulation and epithelialization phases.
