Very good sharpener, you don't get dirty while using it and it seems well-made. I think it's worth buying if you use mechanical pencils like the Faber-Castell TK4600.
Πολύ καλή ξύστρα, δεν λερώνεσαι κατά την χρήση της και φαίνεται καλή σαν κατασκευή. Νομίζω πως αξίζει η αγορά αν χρησιμοποιείτε μηχανικά μολύβια όπως το Faber -Castel TK4600.
I bought it back in 1993, when I was still in elementary school. Timeless, immortal, poetic! It still works like new! My only complaint is that neither then nor now can I find replacement sponges for cleaning the tip (those white ones that look like a cigarette filter).
Την είχα αγοράσει το μακρυνό 1993, οτάν ακόμα πήγαινα δημοτικό. Διαχρονική, αθάνατη, ποιητική! Λειτουργεί ακόμη σαν καινούργια! Το μόνο παράπονο, ούτε τότε ούτε τώρα μπορώ να βρω ανταλλακτικά σφουγγαράκια για τον καθαρισμό της μύτης(αυτά τα άσπρα που μοιάζουν με φίλτρο από τσιγάρο).
It does exactly what it was designed for! However, in the name of cost reduction and always in relation to the bell sharpeners as I knew them in the good old days, I notice a downgrade in the quality of the plastic/mechanism. It sharpens a 2mm mechanical pencil. It has two holes for the length of the tip before sharpening, depending on whether it's intended for writing or for linear drawing (sharper). Turns clockwise smoothly without much pressure (+ one or two counterclockwise for fine) and then onto the cotton (white dot) for any graphite residue so it doesn't stain the hands. Finally, as has already been mentioned, useful for drawing is also the graphite dust produced from sharpening with the appropriate care and provided there are no broken or thick pieces of graphite. I think it rightly monopolizes the Greek market now.

Ωστόσο, στο βωμό της μείωσης του κόστους και πάντα σε σχέση με τις ξύστρες καμπάνα όπως τις ήξερα εγώ τον παλιό καλό καιρό, διακρίνω μια υποβάθμιση της ποιότητας πλαστικών / μηχανισμού. Ξύνει μηχανικό μολύβι των 2mm. Διαθέτει δυο τρύπες για το μήκος της μύτης πριν το ξύσιμο, ανάλογα για το αν το προορίζεται για γραφή η για γραμμικό σχέδιο (πιο αιχμηρό). Στροφές δεξιόστροφα απαλά χωρίς μεγάλη πίεση (+ μια - δυο αριστερόστροφα για fine) και μετά στο βαμβάκι (άσπρη βούλα) για τα τυχόν υπολείμματα γραφίτη ώστε να μην λερώνουν τα χέρια. Τέλος όπως έχει ήδη αναφερθεί, χρήσιμη για σχέδιο είναι και η σκόνη γραφίτη που παράγεται από το ξύσιμο με την κατάλληλη προσοχή και προϋπόθεση να μην υπάρχουν σπασμένα ή χοντρά τμήματα γραφίτη. Νομίζω δίκαια μονοπωλεί πλέον την ελληνική αγορά.
Top quality, possibly the best product this company produces. I also have the equivalent from M+R, because it can do more, but even though it's German, it doesn't match the quality of this one. The filters are for cleaning the nose after sharpening and removing the graphite dust (don't forget, it's for sharpening pencil tips used for technical drawing, so the filter is necessary!). Personally, I put a drop of oil (either s;inger or Ballistol) on the axis that the lid presses on and rotates! Just lift it, it comes off easily without even clicking, so you can easily empty it and prevent clogging! The graphite it holds is perfect for those who do freehand drawing, so it's another big advantage of this sharpener!
PS If you use these types of pencils a lot, other sharpeners I would recommend are the Faber Castell TK 18 66 00 (2mm & 3.2mm), the KUM Longpoint Automatic, which sharpens both wooden and 2mm & 3.2mm tips!! Also, the tiny M+R 2mm sharpener, which is yellow and the best small sharpener on the market for 2mm tips (even better than its equivalent from Faber Castell or KUM).
PS2 The secret to sharpening is not to overdo it! If the tip is sharpened too much, it will break easily and you'll have to start over! So, ALWAYS sharpen with frequent breaks to check the tip and make half rotations or even less, depending on whether you're getting close to the desired result or not! The more careful you are, the better the result. If you rush and do it forcefully, any sharpener will either break the tip inside or break as soon as you use the pencil, because you've made it thinner than it should be!! Remember these tips, they are more important than the sharpener itself!
PS3 If the sharpener frequently breaks tips while you're using it correctly, then it needs to be replaced (or sharpened for those who know) the blade of it

Τα φιλτράκια, είναι για να καρφώνετε τη μύτη μετά το ξύσιμο και να τη καθαρίζετε από τη σκόνη του γραφίτη (μη ξεχνάτε είναι για να ξύνει μύτες μολυβιών, που χρησιμοποιούνταν για Τεχνικό σχέδιο, οπότε το φιλτράκι είναι απαραίτητο!~) .Προσωπικά,βάζω μία σταγόνα λαδάκι (είτε s;inger είτε Ballistol) πάνω στον άξονα που πατάει το καπάκι και περιστρέφεται! Απλά σηκώστε το, βγαίνει εύκολα δε κουμπώνει καν, για να μπορείτε να την αδειάζετε εύκολα να μη μπουκώνει! Οπότε, ΠΑΝΤΑ ξύνουμε με συχνές στάσεις για να ελέγξουμε τη μύτη και κάνουμε μισές περιστροφές ή και λιγότερο, ανάλογα το αν πλησιάζουμε στο επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα ή όχι! Όσο πιο προσεκτικά, τόσο πιο καλό το αποτέλεσμα. Αν το πας βιαστικά και με μανία, όποια ξύστρα και να είναι είτε θα σπάσει η μύτη μέσα στη ξύστρα, είτε θα σπάσει μόλις χρησιμοποιήσεις το μολύβι, γιατί θα την έχεις κάνει πιο λεπτή από ότι θα έπρεπε!! Κρατήστε τα αυτά τα tips,είναι πιο σημαντικά κι από τη ξύστρα την ίδια!
ΥΓ3 Αν η ξύστρα σπάει μύτες συχνά ενώ εσείς τη χρησιμοποιήστε σωστά, τότε θέλει άλλαγμα (ή ακόνισμα για όσους ξέρουν) το ξυράφι της
The best barrel.. I have another one from a different company equally good but it has many adapters and gadgets that make it inconvenient if you want to take all these accessories together. Also, it doesn't scratch the tips as sharply as this one. You get this and it has everything in one!
Το καλύτερο βαρελάκι.. Έχω και ενα άλλο μιας άλλης εταιρίας εξίσου καλό αλλα έχει πολλους ανταπτορες και μπλιμπλιγκια που το καθιστά αβολό αν θές να τα πάιρνεις όλα αυτα τα αξεσουάρ μαζί. Επίσης δεν ξύνει ξύνει τόσο αιχμηρα τις μύτες όσο αυτο. Παιρνεις αυτό και τα έχει όλα σε ένα!
I do not consider that there is a better one. Previously, I had another well-known brand, equally good for sharpening but with a very uncomfortable shape (bell instead of barrel), resulting in it not fitting in the design bag. This specific one is ideal. Note: the white "dot" is used for cleaning the pencil tip from graphite residue after sharpening
Δεν θεωρώ πως υπάρχει καλύτερη. Παλιότερα είχα άλλη γνωστής μάρκας, εξίσου καλό ξύσιμο αλλά πολύ άβολο σχήμα (καμπάνα αντί για βαρελάκι) με αποτέλεσμα να μην χωράει στην τσάντα του σχεδίου. ΥΓ Αν χρησιμοποιήστε πολύ τέτοια μολύβια, άλλες ξύστρες που θα συνιστούσα, είναι η Faber Castell TK 18 66 00 (2mm&3.2mm). η KUM Longpoint Auto,matic, που ξύνει και ξύλινο και 2mm & 3.2mm μύτες!! Επίσης η μικροσκοπική, για όσους τα κουβαλάνε μαζί τους, της M+R 2mm που είναι κίτρινη, είναι η καλύτερη της αγοράς μικρούλα ξύστρα για 2mm μύτες (μακράν καλύτερη ακόμα και από την αντίστοιχή της Faber Castell ή της KUM).
ΥΓ 2 Το μυστικό στο ξύσιμο, είναι να μη το παρακάνετε! Αν η μύτη, ξυστεί πιο πολύ από ότι πρέπει, τότε σπάει εύκολα και άντε πάλι από την αρχή! Οπότε, ΠΑΝΤΑ ξύνουμε με συχνές στάσεις για να ελέγξουμε τη μύτη και κάνουμε μισές περιστροφές ή και λιγότερο, ανάλογα το αν πλησιάζουμε στο επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα ή όχι! Όσο πιο προσεκτικά, τόσο πιο καλό το αποτέλεσμα. Αν το πας βιαστικά και με μανία, όποια ξύστρα και να είναι είτε θα σπάσει η μύτη μέσα στη ξύστρα, είτε θα σπάσει μόλις χρησιμοποιήσεις το μολύβι, γιατί θα την έχεις κάνει πιο λεπτή από ότι θα έπρεπε!! Κρατήστε τα αυτά τα tips,είναι πιο σημαντικά κι από τη ξύστρα την ίδια!
ΥΓ3 Αν η ξύστρα σπάει μύτες συχνά ενώ εσείς τη χρησιμοποιήστε σωστά, τότε θέλει άλλαγμα (ή ακόνισμα για όσους ξέρουν) το ξυράφι της
The best barrel.. I have another one from a different company equally good but it has many adapters and gadgets that make it inconvenient if you want to take all these accessories together. Also, it doesn't scratch the tips as sharply as this one. You get this and it has everything in one!
Το καλύτερο βαρελάκι.. Έχω και ενα άλλο μιας άλλης εταιρίας εξίσου καλό αλλα έχει πολλους ανταπτορες και μπλιμπλιγκια που το καθιστά αβολό αν θές να τα πάιρνεις όλα αυτα τα αξεσουάρ μαζί. Επίσης δεν ξύνει ξύνει τόσο αιχμηρα τις μύτες όσο αυτο. Παιρνεις αυτό και τα έχει όλα σε ένα!
I do not consider that there is a better one. Previously, I had another well-known brand, equally good for sharpening but with a very uncomfortable shape (bell instead of barrel), resulting in it not fitting in the design bag. This specific one is ideal. Note: the white "dot" is used for cleaning the pencil tip from graphite residue after sharpening

Πολύ καλή ξύστρα, δεν λερώνεσαι κατά την χρήση της και φαίνεται καλή σαν κατασκευή. Νομίζω πως αξίζει η αγορά αν χρησιμοποιείτε μηχανικά μολύβια όπως το Faber -Castel TK4600.
I bought it back in 1993, when I was still in elementary school. Timeless, immortal, poetic! It still works like new! My only complaint is that neither then nor now can I find replacement sponges for cleaning the tip (those white ones that look like a cigarette filter).
Την είχα αγοράσει το μακρυνό 1993, οτάν ακόμα πήγαινα δημοτικό. Διαχρονική, αθάνατη, ποιητική! Λειτουργεί ακόμη σαν καινούργια! Το μόνο παράπονο, ούτε τότε ούτε τώρα μπορώ να βρω ανταλλακτικά σφουγγαράκια για τον καθαρισμό της μύτης(αυτά τα άσπρα που μοιάζουν με φίλτρο από τσιγάρο).
It does exactly what it was designed for! However, in the name of cost reduction and always in relation to the bell sharpeners as I knew them in the good old days, I notice a downgrade in the quality of the plastic/mechanism. It sharpens a 2mm mechanical pencil. It has two holes for the length of the tip before sharpening, depending on whether it's intended for writing or for linear drawing (sharper). Turns clockwise smoothly without much pressure (+ one or two counterclockwise for fine) and then onto the cotton (white dot) for any graphite residue so it doesn't stain the hands. Finally, as has already been mentioned, useful for drawing is also the graphite dust produced from sharpening with the appropriate care and provided there are no broken or thick pieces of graphite. I think it rightly monopolizes the Greek market now.
Κάνει καλά ακριβώς αυτό για το οποίο σχεδιάστηκε! Ωστόσο, στο βωμό της μείωσης του κόστους και πάντα σε σχέση με τις ξύστρες καμπάνα όπως τις ήξερα εγώ τον παλιό καλό καιρό, διακρίνω μια υποβάθμιση της ποιότητας πλαστικών / μηχανισμού. Ξύνει μηχανικό μολύβι των 2mm. Διαθέτει δυο τρύπες για το μήκος της μύτης πριν το ξύσιμο, ανάλογα για το αν το προορίζεται για γραφή η για γραμμικό σχέδιο (πιο αιχμηρό). Στροφές δεξιόστροφα απαλά χωρίς μεγάλη πίεση (+ μια - δυο αριστερόστροφα για fine) και μετά στο βαμβάκι (άσπρη βούλα) για τα τυχόν υπολείμματα γραφίτη ώστε να μην λερώνουν τα χέρια. Τέλος όπως έχει ήδη αναφερθεί, χρήσιμη για σχέδιο είναι και η σκόνη γραφίτη που παράγεται από το ξύσιμο με την κατάλληλη προσοχή και προϋπόθεση να μην υπάρχουν σπασμένα ή χοντρά τμήματα γραφίτη. Νομίζω δίκαια μονοπωλεί πλέον την ελληνική αγορά.
Top quality, possibly the best product this company produces. I also have the equivalent from M+R, because it can do more, but even though it's German, it doesn't match the quality of this one. The filters are for cleaning the nose after sharpening and removing the graphite dust (don't forget, it's for sharpening pencil tips used for technical drawing, so the filter is necessary!). Personally, I put a drop of oil (either s;inger or Ballistol) on the axis that the lid presses on and rotates! Just lift it, it comes off easily without even clicking, so you can easily empty it and prevent clogging! The graphite it holds is perfect for those who do freehand drawing, so it's another big advantage of this sharpener!
PS If you use these types of pencils a lot, other sharpeners I would recommend are the Faber Castell TK 18 66 00 (2mm & 3.2mm), the KUM Longpoint Automatic, which sharpens both wooden and 2mm & 3.2mm tips!! Also, the tiny M+R 2mm sharpener, which is yellow and the best small sharpener on the market for 2mm tips (even better than its equivalent from Faber Castell or KUM).
PS2 The secret to sharpening is not to overdo it! If the tip is sharpened too much, it will break easily and you'll have to start over! So, ALWAYS sharpen with frequent breaks to check the tip and make half rotations or even less, depending on whether you're getting close to the desired result or not! The more careful you are, the better the result. If you rush and do it forcefully, any sharpener will either break the tip inside or break as soon as you use the pencil, because you've made it thinner than it should be!! Remember these tips, they are more important than the sharpener itself!
PS3 If the sharpener frequently breaks tips while you're using it correctly, then it needs to be replaced (or sharpened for those who know) the blade of it
Κορυφαία ποιότητα, ίσως το καλύτερο προϊόν που βγάζει η εταιρεία αυτή. Έχω και την αντίστοιχη της M+R,γιατί μπορεί να κάνει περισσότερα, αλλά αν και εκείνη Γερμανική, ΔΕ τη πιάνει τούτη εδώ σε ποιότητα. Τα φιλτράκια, είναι για να καρφώνετε τη μύτη μετά το ξύσιμο και να τη καθαρίζετε από τη σκόνη του γραφίτη (μη ξεχνάτε είναι για να ξύνει μύτες μολυβιών, που χρησιμοποιούνταν για Τεχνικό σχέδιο, οπότε το φιλτράκι είναι απαραίτητο!~) .Προσωπικά,βάζω μία σταγόνα λαδάκι (είτε s;inger είτε Ballistol) πάνω στον άξονα που πατάει το καπάκι και περιστρέφεται! Απλά σηκώστε το, βγαίνει εύκολα δε κουμπώνει καν, για να μπορείτε να την αδειάζετε εύκολα να μη μπουκώνει! Ο γραφίτης που κρατάει είναι ότι πρέπει για όσους κάνουν ελεύθερο σχέδιο, οπότε είναι άλλο ένα μεγάλο προτέρημα αυτής της ξύστρας!
