It is a black pair of tongs.
Does it have any special ergonomics? No. But for the price it costs, well, a pair of tongs is meant to do its job. It is a bit hard on the hand but okay, it works. It doesn't have any serious tips to grip, for example, the stem of a grape or to level the petal of an edible flower, but okay, as we said, with what you pay, you get a pair of tongs.
The problem - and it is a dealbreaker - is the black color...
...which peeled off within three weeks - no, WITHOUT me scratching it or doing anything special to it, and - therefore - I or/and my guests ate it, which - come on, man - is not acceptable.
You know how to electroplate or cast the color onto the alloy, but - somewhere - you don't sell a pair of tongs that loses its color and gets eaten by someone else. If you don't know how to solve it with the cost you have decided to sell the tongs, don't coat it with color, make it metallic and everything will be okay.
I gave it as a gift to a friend for the BBQ where everything burns (including the peeling color) and I bought myself an expensive-serious one to do my job.
Είναι μια λαβίδα. Μαύρη.
Έχει καμιά ιδιαίτερη εργονομία; Όχι. Αλλά με τα λεφτά που κάνει, εντάξει, μια λαβίδα είναι να κάνεις τη δουλειά σου. Είναι λίγο σκληρή στο χέρι αλλά ΟΚ, δουλεύει. Δεν έχει και τίποτα σοβαρά άκρα για να πιάσεις πχ τη ρώγα του σταφυλιού ή να ισώσεις το πέταλο από το βρώσιμο λουλούδι ξέρω-γω αλλά ΟΚ είπαμε, με αυτά που δίνεις, παίρνεις μια λαβίδα.
Το πρόβλημα -και dealbraker είναι το μαύρο χρώμα...
...που ξεφλούδισε μέσα στις τρεις εβδομάδες -όχι, ΧΩΡΙΣ να το ξύσω ή να του κάνω κάτι ιδιαίτερο, και -άρα- το έφαγα ή εγώ ή/και οι καλεσμένοι μου το οποίο -ρε φίλε- δεν λέει.
Η ξέρεις να επιμεταλλώσεις ή χύσε το χρώμα στο κράμα-ξερω γω αλλά -κάπου- δεν πουλάς λαβίδα που χάνει το χρώμα της και το τρώει ο άλλος. Αν δεν ξέρεις πως να το λύσεις με το κόστος που έχεις αποφασίσει να πουλήσεις τη λαβίδα, μην την βγάζεις με χρώμα, βγάλε την μεταλλική και όλα ΟΚ.
Την χάρισα σε έναν φίλο για το BBQ που καίγονται όλα (και το χρώμα που ξεφλουδίζει) και εγώ αγόρασα μια ακριβή-σοβαρή να κάνω τη δουλειά μου.
