  • the best French wrench fits in the palm, fits in hard-to-reach places, the jaws open for bath faucet

  • I bought it to replace a very convenient Chinese one I had with thin jaws. Pure disappointment. It is not well made, very rough and crude. Its screw, which is supposed to be special, gets stuck from new. It is not convenient or ergonomic at all. Pure waste of money at this price. The 2 stars are only for the very wide opening it actually has.

I chose it because it is small enough to fit in my pocket and has a wide jaw opening. I wanted something of good quality, so I chose Facom. I have been using it for at least 1 year now in industrial settings. Initially, in the first few days of use, the safety mechanism that secures the wheel for opening and closing came loose, but I fixed it. After about six months, it started losing some of its chrome. The wheel is not stable at all, and when you unscrew something, it loosens the jaw opening, requiring constant adjustment. Lastly, if you try to loosen something tight and apply more force, there is flexibility in the jaws, and it slips at the corners of the grip. I expected more from a French company like this, and I must admit that I am somewhat disappointed with this particular product.
