    Good spatula for pastry, but not suitable for cooking (e.g. stirring something in a non-stick pan to prevent scratching). The reason is that the silicone edges are very thin and easily bend, so they do not have the strength to turn heavy materials in cooking.
    This is logical, of course, because this flexibility is what helps to clean the walls of bowls, etc. from creams, etc.
    Also, the silicone can be removed if necessary for better cleaning of the silicone and handle.
