Hayman's 1820 Gin Liqueur was created by Christopher and James Hayman, descendants of James Burrough, and 1820 is the date when James Burrough's distillery was acquired. It is a blend of classic gin botanicals with the addition of sugar, whose sweetness links it to a liqueur. It is claimed to be the world's first liqueur – gin. It has notes of juniper, orange, and spices.
