However, the 8-year protection that the box claims is too much, based on experience it lasts around 2-3 years, and it has happened on heavily worn surfaces to "shed" rust in just a few weeks. I should mention that it has a strong odor, so it requires attention, good ventilation, and a few days to air out. Also, it requires a solvent (turpentine) to clean the brushes so they don't get stuck and become useless.
