The winery "Belidis Vineyards" is located in Melissia Kozanis, at an altitude of 575 meters. Viticulture in the area has deep roots and a long history. In 2000, they began planting the first vineyard covering 32 acres, gradually reaching 100 acres, with prospects for expansion to 200 acres. Organic cultivation was chosen for the best quality grapes and to preserve tradition. The planting is dense with 320-400 plants per acre.
In the vineyard, the following varieties are found:
- French: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Uni blanc
- Greek: Roditis, Bulgariko, Moschomavro, Xinomavro, Malagouzia
The winery was built in 2004 and features state-of-the-art machinery, adhering to traditional winemaking methods.
Chardonnay 50% - Malagouzia 50%. The winemaking technique includes pre-fermentation extraction to transfer aromas from the grape to the wine. Alcoholic fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks at temperatures of 18 – 20 ᵒC.
