Two weeks of use, everything perfect, it catches 350-400mbps. I don't have it at a very long distance, but it has solved my problems and saved me a phone bill

I have a network between two houses 70 meters apart, with tp link antennas at 2.4 GHz for 7 years now, where at best I had 50 Mbps network speed. At first, it worked satisfactorily. However, due to interference from other networks that increased in the area over the last year, the speed often dropped to 1-2 Mbps. I changed the antennas to those that work at 5 GHz, and the speed is consistently at 200 Mbps. If I set it to use the entire spectrum, it reaches a stable 650 Mbps, but I don't see the reason to interfere with a neighbor in the future. For their price, I should have gotten them earlier. I haven't even restarted them in a month now. They just work excellently.

The friend is confused.
The AC products of this specific brand can only "play" with each other or with older models, not all of them, and in this case only as an Access point and not as a client if we are talking about a new one with an old one.
They do not connect with other brands with mobile phones, laptops, etc.
Only with the previous models of this specific brand can you achieve this, and always in outdoor settings, for example, tp link that the friend mentions, disregarding maxstream or however each manufacturer calls it.

Τα προιοντα AC της συγκεκριμενης μαρκας μπορουν να "παιξουν" Μονο μεταξυ τους η και με παλιοτερα μοντελα οχι ολα και στην περιπτωση αυτη μονο ως Access point και οχι client αν μιλαμε για καινουργιο με παλιο .
ΔΕΝ συνδεονται με αλλες μαρκες με κινητα λαπτοπ κλπ.
Μονο με τα προηγουμενα μοντελα της συγκεκριμενης μαρκας μπορεις να το πετυχεις αυτο και παντα στα outdoor πχ tp link που αναφερει ο φιλος ξετικαρωντας το maxstream η οπως το λεει ο καθε κατασκευαστης.

Clarification: I struggled to set up TWO IDENTICAL devices together. Obviously, I didn't try to make them communicate with any unrelated access point. And even my friend, who is a networking enthusiast and eventually managed to set them up, also had a hard time figuring it out. However, once they started working, they have been performing flawlessly and consistently, even passing the signal through a large walnut tree without any issues.

Truly the worst networking product I have ever purchased.
I am an IT professional with years of experience, although not specifically in networking. I have set up countless things, from Unix servers to networks and subnets (at normal levels), and have a decent infrastructure.
But this one here just doesn't work, no matter what you do with the settings. It seems to have a mind of its own. And of course, I bought it brand new. I have even updated the firmware to the latest version (8.7.1 now), performed DOZENS of factory resets, and changed cables in case there was any issue with them, among other things.
I have also purchased TP-Link mesh WiFi devices, which worked perfectly right from the start. But with this one, I am truly struggling without any results.
If you need to be a CCNA or higher to set up a supposedly consumer product, then something is seriously wrong.

Και ο δικτυάς φίλος μου που τελικά τα σετάρισε, που είναι φανατικός της μάρκας και που κατόπιν επιμονής αυτού τα πήρα, και αυτός πάλι παιδεύτηκε να βγάλει άκρη. Κατά τα άλλα, από την στιγμή που έπαιξαν, παίζουν μέχρι τώρα απροβλημάτιστα και σταθερά και περνάει το σήμα χειμώνα - καλοκαίρι ανάμεσα και από μία μεγάλη καρυδιά χωρίς πρόβλημα.

Αν πρέπει να είσαι CCNA και πάνω για να σετάρεις ένα υποθετικά consumer product, τότε κάτι κάνουν πολύ λάθος.
The purchase was made for connecting 2 points at a distance of 2km without any intermediate obstacles, operating at 195mbps / 40mhz with good value and a good product which initially may not catch your eye due to its small size and weight compared to its predecessors, but it gets the job done! The only downside is that it doesn't have indicator lights showing signal quality during installation, it only has a power indicator, which can be solved by using a computer or mobile device. **Power supply is not included, you need to purchase it separately - minus one star for this reason.

I haven't even restarted them in a month now. They just work excellently.
Έχω ένα δίκτυο μεταξύ δύο κατοικιών 70 μέτρα μακριά, με κεραίες tp link στα 2,4 Ghz 7 χρόνια τώρα που στην καλύτερη περίπτωση είχα 50Mbps ταχύτητα δικτύου. Στην αρχή δούλευε ικανοποιητικά. Λόγω όμως παρεμβολών από άλλα δίκτυα που αυξήθηκαν στην περιοχή τον τελευταίο χρόνο έπεφτε συχνά η ταχύτητα ακόμα και στα 1-2 Mbps. Άλλαξα τις κεραίες με αυτές που δουλεύουν στα 5Ghz και η ταχύτητα είναι σταθερά στα 200 Mbps. Αν το βάλω να χρησιμοποιεί όλο το φάσμα φτάνει στα 650 Mbps σταθερά, αλλά δεν βλέπω το λόγο να κάνω παρεμβολές σε κάποιον γείτονα στο μέλλον. Για την τιμή τους έπρεπε να τα έχω πάρει νωρίτερα. Ούτε επανεκκίνηση δεν έχω κάνει ένα μήνα τώρα. Απλά δουλεύουν εξαιρετικά.
I have it for 2 years, it is better for the speeds it reaches. With Link Ubiquiti LiteBeam AC Gen2. I have it at 500 meters and it reaches 200 Mbps.

The friend is confused.
The AC products of this specific brand can only "play" with each other or with older models, not all of them, and in this case only as an Access point and not as a client if we are talking about a new one with an old one.
They do not connect with other brands with mobile phones, laptops, etc.
Only with the previous models of this specific brand can you achieve this, and always in outdoor settings, for example, tp link that the friend mentions, disregarding maxstream or however each manufacturer calls it.

Τα προιοντα AC της συγκεκριμενης μαρκας μπορουν να "παιξουν" Μονο μεταξυ τους η και με παλιοτερα μοντελα οχι ολα και στην περιπτωση αυτη μονο ως Access point και οχι client αν μιλαμε για καινουργιο με παλιο .
ΔΕΝ συνδεονται με αλλες μαρκες με κινητα λαπτοπ κλπ.
Μονο με τα προηγουμενα μοντελα της συγκεκριμενης μαρκας μπορεις να το πετυχεις αυτο και παντα στα outdoor πχ tp link που αναφερει ο φιλος ξετικαρωντας το maxstream η οπως το λεει ο καθε κατασκευαστης.

Clarification: I struggled to set up TWO IDENTICAL devices together. Obviously, I didn't try to make them communicate with any unrelated access point. And even my friend, who is a networking enthusiast and eventually managed to set them up, also had a hard time figuring it out. However, once they started working, they have been performing flawlessly and consistently, even passing the signal through a large walnut tree without any issues.

Initial evaluation:
Truly the worst networking product I have ever purchased.
I am an IT professional with years of experience, although not specifically in networking. I have set up countless things, from Unix servers to networks and subnets (at normal levels), and have a decent infrastructure.
But this one here just doesn't work, no matter what you do with the settings. It seems to have a mind of its own. And of course, I bought it brand new. I have even updated the firmware to the latest version (8.7.1 now), performed DOZENS of factory resets, and changed cables in case there was any issue with them, among other things.
I have also purchased TP-Link mesh WiFi devices, which worked perfectly right from the start. But with this one, I am truly struggling without any results.
If you need to be a CCNA or higher to set up a supposedly consumer product, then something is seriously wrong.

Διευκρίνιση: παιδεύτηκα να σετάρω ΔΥΟ ΙΔΙΑ τέτοια μεταξύ τους. Προφανώς και ΔΕΝ πήγα να κάνω αυτό να μιλήσει με κάποιο άλλο άσχετο access point. Και ο δικτυάς φίλος μου που τελικά τα σετάρισε, που είναι φανατικός της μάρκας και που κατόπιν επιμονής αυτού τα πήρα, και αυτός πάλι παιδεύτηκε να βγάλει άκρη. Κατά τα άλλα, από την στιγμή που έπαιξαν, παίζουν μέχρι τώρα απροβλημάτιστα και σταθερά και περνάει το σήμα χειμώνα - καλοκαίρι ανάμεσα και από μία μεγάλη καρυδιά χωρίς πρόβλημα.

Πραγματικά ό,τι χειρότερο έχω αγοράσει σε δικτυακά.
Πληροφορικάριος είμαι, εξειδικευμένος χρόνια αλλά όχι δικτυάς. Έχω σετάρει μέχρι τώρα της Παναγιάς τα μάτια, από unix servers, δίκτυα και υποδίκτυα (σε νορμάλ επίπεδα), και αρκετή υποδομή.
Αυτή εδώ η μαλ δεν παίζει με τίποτα! Ό,τι και να βάλεις στις ρυθμίσεις, αυτό είναι σαν να κάνει τα δικά του. Και εννοείται το πήρα του κουτιού. Και firmware update τους έκανα στο τελευταίο (8.7.1 τώρα), και ΔΕΚΑΔΕΣ factory reset, και καλώδια έχω αλλάξει μην τυχόν και είναι κανένα ζαβό, και τα πάντα.
Κάτι αλλά TP-Link που έχω πάρει mesh WiFi παίξανε μια χαρά και με το καλημέρα. Εδώ πραγματικά βασανίζομαι χωρίς αποτέλεσμα.
Αν πρέπει να είσαι CCNA και πάνω για να σετάρεις ένα υποθετικά consumer product, τότε κάτι κάνουν πολύ λάθος.
