I use it in a Gaggia Brera about every 4 months and it is still like new, it makes coffee just like the first day.

  • Expensive but it does the job it claims. Sometimes, if the machine starts leaking water from underneath and asks for it, I do descaling with this and it fixes the issue.

Because the review doesn't go through, let me clarify: when I say "expensive" I mean it because the machine asks for it almost every month.
    1) It doesn't seem to need it every month, I do the descaling whenever I remember, or whenever it gets clogged.
    2) I've heard that you don't need to buy Gaggia's, there are cheaper solutions and do-it-yourself options, but to be honest, it's not worth the risk.

The process was easy. First, however, you need to read the manual carefully and understand exactly what happens at each step. You need to know English or Italian. From there on, you just follow the steps as instructed, and personally, I did not encounter any problems

I followed the instructions and despite that, the cleaner did not rinse out from the flow after the 3rd cycle, resulting in it affecting the taste of the coffee for months. I had to run the machine to produce only water several times along with vinegar to clean it out from the cleaner.

Necessary to maintain the quality of coffee at high levels. Sufficient instructions for use, in my machine (Gaggia brera) the descaling process could be easier. After descaling, I did not notice any difference in the taste of the coffee. Also, the descaling indicator came on after about 2 months of use and the whole package is needed for one descaling, so in time I will need 6 packages, but it also depends on how many coffees you make per day and the hardness of the water in your area. I live in Athens and we make an average of 5 coffees per day

I bought it 1.5 years ago for 13.50 per bottle, which is very expensive! Its current price is much more reasonable for the quantity you get, and I finally managed to buy it to descale my Gaggia Classic.

The instructions say to use the whole bottle; however, after some research, I found that half a bottle is sufficient and seems to do the job judging by the result. There are countless videos with the steps, but I follow the one below every 4-5 months: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZAI_i_ItVU
