I used a cheaper dishwasher salt from another company and when it ran out, I bought this one to try it out. I noticed that it is coarser than the one I had been using until now. After filling the compartment in the dishwasher, the salt refill indicator light did not turn off. I added more, again and again, but it still remained lit. I took a knife and stirred the salt in the compartment, and then it turned off. This never happened with another salt.
