The build quality is what you expect from Salomon. However, I will emphasize the negatives because they may play a role in your purchase. 1. The waist pocket is small, unfortunately, it does not fit a large phone. 2. The chest strap could have an integrated whistle like most backpacks today. 3. The side mesh pockets do not hold a 1.5-liter bottle well (it tips over if the bag is not stuffed).

I want to emphasize that the space offered for a 30L backpack is huge. More than enough for a day hike. 20L would be sufficient.

Awesome backpack for hiking, extremely lightweight made from high-quality materials with adjustable straps for shoulders, back, and waist. It doesn't have aluminum frames, which makes it soft and fits perfectly on the back. The only downside is that it doesn't have a waterproof cover.

The trailblazer 10 is a very commendable bag for trail running and day hikes, as I found it at a tremendous price of 28 euros. The padding is very good on the back, while the shoulder straps have almost no padding, which is not a problem during running. Very good storage spaces, with internal separation for a water bladder made of very good materials, and two side stretch mesh storage pockets. The photos are for comparison with the trailblazer 20, which definitely won't be suitable for trail running as it is considerably larger and the storage spaces in the waist buckle, as shown in the photos, are a characteristic difference between them. Finally, the trailblazer 20 has an extra storage compartment on the front that the 10 doesn't have. Very good and quality bags overall.

I have bought this bag for hiking and for the beach. It can fit essential items for two people, such as 2 towels, one or two large water bottles, food, flip flops, wallet, and sunglasses. It is lightweight and fits well on the body. I recommend it for short day trips
