The application was very easy, it didn't even require tightening, but reading the comments, it is true that it may not be screwed correctly and the threads may get damaged. Just make sure the threads are clean and apply it very carefully, as I did. It is indeed plastic, but it seems to be of good quality and durable! It is also small in size and lightweight. That being said. Look, we had a Camelot shower filter, we didn't notice any difference for a year, only when we took a shower without it until the next one arrived. Well, during that time it was like taking a shower in a sulfur spring. What I want to say is, you just get used to it and you don't notice a difference. It's the same with this one. We didn't experience miracles, but from the first moment, the water has "softened" and the taste has improved! Yes, okay, we don't drink it, we take a shower, but... you get it. These are good signs. In conclusion, we are satisfied, there are no problems and we will probably buy it again! One... drawback, insignificant, let's just say... is that it doesn't handle high water pressure. If you're used to showering with the flow at 100% 3, it won't leave you satisfied as it can only filter up to 75-80%, let's say! Opening it all the way will just be in vain, 4/5 because there is room for improvement. Overall, a very good purchase :)
