The metal frame is made of very thin aluminum (not), very flexible, not stable at all, with poor holes, and ultimately it looks quite different from what we see in the photo! Firstly, the work surface does not protrude, which makes the desk completely useless as it doesn't fit! There is a "board" that plays the role of a "back" on the tall side - it's completely missing! In some places, I can't screw in the screws because of the way the holes have opened! The metal frame, as I said, is made of very thin sheet metal and essentially consists of square tubes that are cut in specific parts to create the angles! Well, in these parts where the metal is cut, they haven't even glued it, which brings the risk of the angles gradually opening and everything collapsing! Also, someone the support parts were broken!
If you are looking for a cheap prop that won't hold weight and you will throw it away afterward (because let's be honest - at this price, we can't expect something that will withstand the test of time), then buy it! If you are looking for a small desk that will do the job, withstand more than a year (because that's the maximum I would give it), be functional, or in other words - a piece of furniture that will do its job - DO NOT BUY THIS THING!!!

The reason I am writing is to answer the question that they couldn't answer for me at the store: Yes, the bookshelf can be placed either on the left or on the right. It is not mentioned in the instructions, but anyone who has assembled 2-3 pieces of furniture understands how (basically, you need to change the position of the two legs, placing the front ones at the back, contrary to what the instructions say). I am rating based on its price, it is quite fair and beautiful.
Indeed, it lacks stability as other buyers have mentioned.
But if you don't put too much weight on it, there is no problem.
I put a 27-inch monitor and some decorative items on the side shelves, there is no problem at all.

not worth the money . they delivered it to me with a warped board and the white color is nothing like up close .. it turns yellow

not worth the money they sent me a used one, the package was taped up like it was opened a few times the holes in the wood where in different places than the screws where suppose to go seriously not worth it!!!
