The company Vakakis Wines was founded in 2011. Its vision and guide is the creation of a limited number of high-quality wine bottles. In the production of its products, it places its full emphasis on the selection of raw materials and the winemaking process. At the same time, it attempts to highlight unknown, hidden local oenological treasures.
All of the company's vineyards are organically cultivated and were planted from 2004 to 2012. The average yield per acre does not exceed 500 kilograms. The cultivated varieties are all Greek and preferably from the Aegean:
- Moschato Samou
- Assyrtiko
- Fokiano
- Avgoustiatis
- Mavro Moschato Samou
Single-variety wine from sun-dried Aspro Moschato grapes. The grapes were spread out in an olive grove, resulting in them receiving sun exposure only during very specific periods of the day. They remained in the olive grove for 15 days. It is suitable for long aging.
