For someone who wants to buy the Hario V60-02, it is an excellent value for money (V60-02 + decanter + 40 filters). The truth is that the decanter is not necessary, but the whole set is very economical. Personally, I like visually seeing the coffee and how it falls, but also how it comes out and it also helps with mixing. Along with a grinder and a scale, coffee becomes a hobby and experimentation.

Very good product overall. The glass carafe is sturdy and the V60, although plastic, is very high quality. It is worth it and more, for the amount it costs. In combination with a good grinder, quality coffee, and technique, you will get a very good result in your cup.

I have it for a few months. It is convenient, you can easily make up to 600-700mL of coffee. The carafe is glass with a plastic handle, the v60 is also plastic. It includes convenient filters, as well as a measuring spoon, although I prefer to use just a scale.
The v60 can also be easily placed on any cup if you want to make only 1 serving.
From a practical perspective, for coffee at home and even for 3-4 servings, I don't think you need to go for something more expensive. At around €16 that I bought it, it is value for money, with the right technique you definitely get better results than a simple coffee maker.

I make wonderful v60 coffee in the comfort of my home and with the proportions I want...
The kettle has been extremely convenient for me...

I have it for about a year. Very good set.
These days (quarantine) I use it every day.
For V60 at home, it's just what you need.
The V60 itself, obviously, is plastic. Some people may be bothered by this, but it also has its pros:
1) It doesn't break easily and 2) it doesn't absorb much heat from the water.
The paper filters are of very good quality.
The spoon (the dosing tool) is very convenient for both pre-ground coffee and whole beans.
The carafe (the server) is made of glass with a plastic handle. I use it when I want to make coffee for 2+ cups.
In combination with a kettle, scale, and hand grinder, you have ALL(!) the necessary tools to make filter coffee that is not inferior to what you would drink in a café (as long as you have the skill, of course).
