It does its job but.. be careful!
It solves the problem but not in all sockets. Out of the 5 I bought, only the ones that had a 45-degree downward tilt worked properly (see photo). For the other 3 that were on the ceiling and hanging, I had to sit on the ladder for over 15 minutes (the ceiling is 5 meters high) and try to find the right contact point between the adapter and the socket by keeping the main switch on, otherwise the bulbs wouldn't turn on. In one socket, it never worked, there was never any contact due to the weight of the adapter + base, so as soon as I removed my hand, it turned off. I will need to call an electrician to directly replace it with an E27 socket and the adapter will stay in the drawer.
I should mention that both the cables and the B22 sockets on my ceiling are pre-war (from the '50s or at best the '60s) and miraculously, everything worked perfectly, even though it took me an hour.
Lastly, be very careful with these adapters. Although they do their job 9 out of 10 times, they are just a temporary solution and quite messy compared to changing the sockets to E27. The polarity can change depending on how you position the adapter! This means that if you have the main switch on and you are unlucky during the installation, the inner part of the adapter, which is silver (or gold) in the photo, can have 230V. It requires a lot of attention, especially if you are dealing with electrical work for the first time and "experimenting" like I did.
Watch the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ2EKCUp7-E before buying anything, because instead of spending 7-8 or 10 euros on adapters, it might be worth spending more, like 40 or even 50 euros, to call a professional to install new sockets for you and be done with it forever. If you choose to use adapters, turn off the main switch or at least first place the bulb in the adapter and then insert it into the wall socket.
Κάνει την δουλειά του αλλά..προσοχή!
Λύνει το πρόβλημα αλλά όχι σε όλα τα ντουί. Απο τα 5 που αγόρασα μόνο όσα είχαν μια κλήση 45 μοίρες προς τα κάτω δόλυψαν κατευθείαν (βλ. φωτογραφία). Στα υπόλοιπα 3 που ήταν στο ταβάνι και κρέμονταν, έπρεπε στα 2 να κάτσω στη σκάλα για πάνω από 15 λεπτά (σπίτι με ταβάνι 5 μέτρα) και να προσπαθώ με ανοικτό το γενικό να βρω το σωστό σημείο επαφής στην περιστροφή του αντάπτορα και του ντουί αλλιώς δεν άναβαν οι λάμπες. Στο ένα ντουί μάλιστα δεν δούλεψε ποτέ, δεν έκανε ποτέ επαφή λόγω βάρους αντάπτορα + βάσης και έτσι με το που έβγαζα το χέρι μου απο κάτω, έσβηνε. Θα χρειαστεί να φωνάξω ηλεκτρολόγο να μου το αλλάξει απευθείας σε Ε27 το ντουί και ο αντάπτορας θα μείνει στο συρτάρι.
Εδώ να πω πως τόσο τα καλώδια όσο και τα Β22 ντουί του ταβανιού μου είναι προπολεμικά (του '50 ή στην καλύτερη του 60') και ως εκ θαύματος δούλεψαν όλα ρολόι, ασχέτως αν μου έφαγαν 1 ώρα κοντά.
Τέλος, μεγάλη προσοχή στους συγκεκριμένους αντάπτορες. Παρόλου που κάνουν την δουλειά τους 9 στις 10 περιπτώσεις μια χαρά είναι μια μέση λύση και βρώμικη θα έλεγα απο το να καθυστερήσετε να αλλάξετε τις υποδοχές σε Ε27. Η πόλωση μπορεί να αλλάξει όταν κανείς τοποθετήσει τον αντάπτορα ανάλογα με την φορά τοποθέτησης του ! Αυτό έχει ως αποτέλεσμα αν έχετε ανοικτό το γενικό και είστε κατά 50% άτυχος κατά την τοποθέτηση του, το εσωτερικό του αντάπτορα που στην φωτογραφία είναι χρώμα ασημί (ή χρυσού), να έχει 230V. Θέλει πολύ προσοχή ειδικά αν πιάνετε για πρώτη φορά ηλεκτρολογικά και "πειραματίζεσται" όπως εγώ.

Εάν επιλέξετε τους ανταπτορες κλείστε γενικό ή έστω τοποθετήστε πρώτα την λάμπα στον αντάπτορα και μετά όλο μαζί στον ντουί του τοίχου.
