It will only be useful to you in the case where you absolutely want to have a specific E27 bulb which does not exist as a smart one.
It takes up quite a bit of space, so it's good to check the dimensions at the socket or the spot where you want to place it.
The Vtac 5007 has dimensions W: 67 x D: 67 x H: 102 millimeters.
The only point you should keep in mind is that the app the manual says you need to download is not the correct one!
After quite a bit of hassle and some searching on the internet, I found on the UK site of the manufacturer that it works perfectly with eWeLink - Smart Home.
After 1 month of operation, it has had no problems, and works perfectly with Google Home.
eWeLink is also a very decent app from which you can very easily set up schedules.
It has Schedule, Timer, Loop Timer, If-Then triggers (e.g. Sunrise/Sunset or triggers from other smart devices that work with this app, etc.). So if you want it, for example, to turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise, you can do it from its own app without even needing Google Home or anything similar.
Once it gave me a message that it didn't receive the command to turn on, but as soon as I opened the app it was already connected. It hasn't disconnected again so maybe the internet just dropped for a moment at that time.
Generally, it seems to work flawlessly.
