Description

This device features an elegant glass front panel and a touch switch on it. Thanks to the built-in WiFi chip, you can remotely turn the switch on/off with a smartphone app (iOS or Android), and with the timer you can also set a simple or scheduled on/off. By using the touch switch, you can certainly turn on the light on the wall, just like with a traditional light switch.

The remote control can be shared with your family.

It is a perfect solution for smart control of any lights and lamps. By using the smart switch, you can turn on/off any lights you want remotely, even when you are not at home. Using it as a security solution, you can set a scheduled on/off to pretend you are at home. The TX T2 version (similar to the previous T1) features a white glass front panel.

Like the Sonoff T1, it has a built-in 433 MHz radio controller, allowing pairing with a remote control and SmartWise wireless control switch, thus connecting alternative switches to wired switches without further wiring. Combining the stylish panel and sensitive touch buttons, it adds a modern touch to your home. Ideal to match any room in your house.

The LED indicator makes it easy to locate the switches, helping to turn on the lights in a dark environment. Personalize smart scenes for groups of connected devices. The light will turn on automatically when your family or friends arrive at your home. No need for frequent settings. In addition to the above, synchronization status and sharing control are all available. Display the on/off status of devices on your phone. Share it with your family for easy control together.

From version v3.5.4 of the eWeLink app, the switch can be set to push mode or to turn off automatically based on a schedule (staircase mode). On the elegant glass front panel of the TX T2 EU, the touch switch is almost invisible when the switch is off, lights up at 90% when on, and at 30% in standby mode.

Owner of this switch for a week, I have the following to say:

Visually, it is nice with a glass and illuminated connection indicator for WiFi and button (the button is not very prominent, but there is no chance you won't see it in the dark)

Installation:
Definitely requires a neutral wire to work. I was lucky because I had a socket below and I pulled a line. It also only has screws and not ears like traditional switches. This means that if you don't have the new boxes that have screw holes, you will have to find a workaround to secure it to the old box. Personally, I used two wood screws on the right/left and it worked fine.

Connection:
First of all, it only connects to the 2.4GHz band, so forget it if you only have a 5GHz router. My router works on both bands, so it connected. I connected it through the compatible device mode from the eWelink app, not quick pair, because I would have to change the name of the 2.4 network and I didn't want to. It guides you step by step for the connection.

I have it connected to Google Home and it added an on/off button. The response to pressing the button is immediate and systemically, and of course, without any disconnections so far. Time will tell how long it will last. For now, it is a good and useful purchase for me.

The product is very nice in appearance, as shown in the photos. However, its functionality is not the best. First of all, in terms of durability, I installed the switches throughout the house. After the initial installation, out of the approximately 20 switches, four of them did not work with the touch system and needed to be replaced. I bought new switches to replace them, but one of the new switches also stopped working. It is important to note that these specific switches may not work in all houses, as they require the installation of a neutral wire, which can be a problem if you do not already have it installed. Another major issue is the lack of switches for dimming. Unfortunately, there are no switches from the company that support dimming, so in the bedrooms and living room, where switches next to the bed or sofa are necessary, the lights cannot be controlled from just one point. The only solution is to use the company's RF remote control, as shown in the photo. Overall, I regret not installing simple switches, as I know how to use them and what needs to be done for them to work. However, most users in the house, as well as guests, struggle to use them because the touch function requires a specific touch at a specific point and with a specific pressure. I hope that in the future, switches will be developed that solve all these issues.

It does exactly what it promises. It connected easily and quickly. The connection remains stable. I used it to automatically turn on the lights at night in the entrance of the apartment garage. If there is a wiring issue, it should be canceled. Anyway, you can activate the switch from wherever you want. It doesn't have hooks to catch onto the box of the previous switch. However, with a little silicone glue, it stabilized in its place.

    Very good switches.
The touch and WiFi connectivity (2.4GHz), as well as the eWeLink application response, work perfectly (those who want can flash them with custom firmware).
The only negative for me is that they are intended for drywall, so they do not come with screws to be securely mounted in a cement wall, only with a patent (either with a quality hot glue gun, or with a plastic/wooden base, or with wedges, etc.)

Very good. It solves your hands. Attention, it synchronizes at 2.4 frequency and not 5. That means you need to have 2.4 on your mobile to set it up. If you use 5g, it won't detect it.

    Attention: Neutral wire required!
Otherwise, the connection both with the wiring and with the network and the application was easy and trouble-free. Its installation requires a plasterboard box (the ones with holes for screws on the left and right) or any other preferred method. Some suggest using silicone or hot glue, while others recommend screwing it onto the wall. Personally, since I wanted it for outdoor lights and for use with a timer or remote control, I used double-sided adhesive. I believe that for frequent manual use, it would require better anchoring.

Excellent product and it has never lost connection. Trustworthy 100% (8 months of use). As you can see from the other comments, the neutral line installation is necessary, which should be pulled from a socket near the switch. It worked for me because I wanted the switches to be below the socket

I bought a total of 14 switches, replacing all the switches in my house, and both of them had problems. One did not light up the LED on the button, and the other would disconnect periodically and even get stuck as a switch. As the switch is divided into two parts, I found that one had a problem with the front and the other with the back. So I ended up with a broken switch, which was immediately replaced. The devices have been working flawlessly for a month now. I definitely recommend it.

I have installed 9 of these single switches. 3 of them were not working and needed replacement. Generally, from what I have seen on various forums, it is a common occurrence. My advice, therefore, is if you buy it, try it as soon as possible by CONNECTING IT WITH THE eWeLink APP before the 14-day return period expires.
