I received it today and I have to say that its construction is not good. It arrived bent and when I opened it, the paint was scratched due to the construction and the color was ruined. I don't know if I'm the only one who experienced this

the tip is a bit big relatively, but not to the point of being annoying and someone said it fades.... I haven't had any issue

EDIT: After months of using it at least twice a month, it no longer holds the blades and won't snap in at all. The two little metal parts that are supposed to keep the blade stable have melted/shrunk.

The only thing I will say is to NOT buy it for any other reason than that you really like it and it truly fascinates you, because otherwise you won't have the patience to learn and struggle; don't buy it for reasons of economy, bravado, beauty, or anything else. Also, don't get it if you are afraid of blood. The tool is wonderful, it looks sturdy and heavy, and it has five blades which you break in half to make ten, and that is MORE THAN ENOUGH to learn or to throw it off the balcony.

Completely new to traditional shaving here. Coming from Gillette Blue II Plus Slalom razors, I got tired of seeing them getting more expensive and the charm of the straight razor won me over compared to decent razors that, however, put me in discomfort.
Visually, a very high-quality, sturdy, and beautiful construction.
With a few comments, reviews, and videos as a guide, I tried shaving and for the first time, I didn't do completely terrible. There were some nice glides in certain areas, while in others, I got cut. I have the feeling that it has a good grip and I will improve significantly with a little practice. The straight razor with the included blades luckily showed mercy with my wrong handling and perhaps the poor structure of my shaving cream. I will also try the classic Bic Astor.
Because I usually try to avoid irritation, I was very impressed with the closeness of the shave without it, and the smoothness of the skin afterwards. I have never seen this with any other shaving method.
I don't have a comparison with other straight razors, but as a beginner, it convinced me to continue using it.

Οπτικά, μια πολύ ποιοτική, στιβαρή και όμορφη κατασκευή.
Με λίγα σχόλια, κριτικές και βίντεο σαν οδηγό, δοκίμασα να ξυριστώ και για πρώτη φορά δεν τα πήγα τελείως χάλια. Σε κάποια σημεία έγινε όμορφη ολίσθηση, σε άλλα κόπηκα. Έχω την αίσθηση πως έχει καλό κράτημα και θα βελτιωθώ σημαντικά με λίγη επανάληψη. Η σαβέτα με τις συμπεριλαμβανόμενες λεπίδες ευτυχώς έδειξαν έλεος με τους λάθος χειρισμούς μου και την κακή ίσως δομή της σαπουνάδας μου. Θα δοκιμάσω και τα κλασικά Bic Astor.
Επειδή συνηθίζω να αποφεύγω την κόντρα, μου έκανε πολύ θετική εντύπωση το βάθος ξυρίσματος χωρίς αυτήν, και η απαλότητα της επιδερμίδας μετά. Δεν το έχω ξαναδεί αυτό με κανένα άλλο ξύρισμα.
