Description

Viticulture is a tradition for the Bairaktaris family, passed down from generation to generation. In 2005, Christos Bairaktaris decided to give a more modern form to this family tradition, and thus Bairaktaris Estate was born. It is a family business based on its own vineyards, deeply rooted in the plain of Nemea, where the wonderful ecosystem and microclimate of the area combined with the clayey, fertile soil produce the famous great wines of Nemea.

The philosophy of Bairaktaris Estate lies in the natural cultivation of the vineyards, as a high-quality wine is based on the excellent quality of the grape. They follow natural winemaking methods, for both white and red varieties, without fermentation additives, so that the wines have richer and longer-lasting aromas derived from the grape.

  • 100% Agiorgitiko
  • Vineyard in Koutsi Nemea at an altitude of 700m from 50-year-old vines
  • Classic red winemaking with a 15-day extraction
