The EIL Plus instant water heater offers a reliable, economical solution for hot water in all types of installations. This allows it to be combined with any conventional tap.

Hot water easily and quickly without losses

The EIL automatically increases the water temperature by approximately 25°C. The local installation at the point of use ensures immediate hot water supply with the lowest possible heat loss.

Application

For places where water is frequently needed in small quantities, the EIL Plus mini instant water heaters are the ideal choice.

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It only heats the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, as well as longer lifespan, since there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts on the resistance and other components.

It operates with electricity and is single-phase.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is the pressure of the cold water inlet should not be too low.

The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures that the hot water reaches are preset so that one can use the hot water directly, without the need to mix it with cold water.

The maximum temperature it can reach for hot water production is 50 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 2 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.

Advantages of an instant water heater compared to a classic electric water heater

  • It is small in size and does not take up much space.
  • There are no energy losses, as only the water that is used at that moment is heated. Therefore, we save on the electricity bill. In a classic water heater, the hot water that is not used goes to waste.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold water, as happens in a classic water heater. Thus, we also save water, in addition to electricity.
  • We do not need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the tap, hot water runs in a few seconds. The classic water heater takes a few minutes, depending on its size.

    Before, I had a Thermitron 3.7KW that lasted 7 years...
    However, it had power adjustment levels that this one does not have, it had an operation indicator light that this one does not have, and the heater's shell was metallic while this one is plastic.
    It produces slightly more than lukewarm water, which, however, is pleasant for bathing in the spring (in Patras), but in the winter you have to significantly reduce the flow to get lukewarm water....

    A huge disadvantage is that it does not have power adjustment levels (in spring, summer, and autumn it does not need to operate at 5.7KW!!!)

    Hello. I have ordered it for the kitchen. Its installation is almost easy. It doesn't have a socket, but only a cable to which you have to add a socket yourself. The result was disappointing. Okay, I didn't expect it to produce hot water, but at least warm. What I saw is that the water it produces is lukewarm. I lowered the water pressure for better efficiency, but in vain. If you lower the pressure from the faucet, even though it is turned to hot water, it throws it away and produces cold water. The quality-price ratio is not worth it. For this result, I would spend a maximum of 50€. It's better to spend some extra money and get something better.
