I got it to create a halo effect on the wall behind my computer monitor (40') to reduce eye strain and also to create balanced lighting. The result is amazing, I am absolutely satisfied! If I turn them off, I notice the difference. You can't go back! Added bonus: very nice and even facial lighting during video conferences!

VERY IMPORTANT: You DO NOT need a Hue Bridge for them to work! They work and are controlled just fine from the Philips Hue app via Bluetooth! You just need to be close with your phone. Of course, we're talking about basic control: color, brightness, temperature, etc.

Philips Hue. I think this says it all. Yes, expensive but… It immediately found my hue bridge, they are mounted on the back of the monitor and do what they say. Very nice light, scenes, and many other options through the Philips app. The software for the computer is also very good.

I use them all the time! I have them positioned against the wall, behind the TV, and they create an excellent atmosphere combined with the other Hue lights I have. But these, a click above because of their placement. And they also improve the clarity of viewing in bright colors. If you're wondering, I recommend Hue lights for creating atmosphere at home but not for syncing with TV, PC, etc. They are more expensive if you want both, and I don't know if they are reliable in that area. However, to beautify the home and to help improve your mood, they are just what you need!

There were already 2 bars installed, one on each screen, and because it left a gap in the middle, I decided to buy a third one. The socket I had from the purchase of the previous 2 had space for another one. In terms of lighting, it is more than enough, very bright, and with the app, you can change the colors according to your mood. The installation was a breeze as it comes with double-sided adhesive tape, which is really sturdy. Of course, you need the hub for it to work and take advantage of the features it has, such as changing scenes through the application, reproducing the colors shown on the screen at that moment, and changing colors with the rhythm of the music. In terms of price, yes, it is expensive, but it offers something that other companies cannot, such as reliability and all the other things I mentioned above.

It is expensive and requires the Hue Bridge, which is an additional 60 euros, but it is worth the money. Beautiful and powerful lighting with endless possibilities. It works with music, movies, games, and the lights, as LEDs, are also economical. The result will impress you.

The Philips Hue system is addictive. I started years ago with 2 bulbs, and now I have ceiling lights, play bars, 15 bulbs in different rooms, programs, plugs, strips, etc. Keep in mind that you will get hooked.

As for the play bars, the previous reviewers have covered me. They do exactly what they say, with great ease. The application for the computer is very user-friendly and doesn't lag. The bulbs are bright and quick to switch depending on the signal from your monitor whether you have set the program for music, for visuals, or just the ambiance with the presets. The manufacturer has provided that the transformer in the package supplies power to 3 bars. This means you can take just the third one and connect it without anything going to waste.

Initially purchased (2+1 pieces) for ampilight lighting in combination with HUE BRIDGE, HDMI SYNC on a 65'' television.
In practice, it left gaps possibly due to the size of the television, but after placing the led strip, they were placed as supplementary lighting on the furniture base with impressive results.
They synchronize very easily with the bridge in a Homekit environment.
Up to 3 bars (2+1) do not require an extra socket.
If you want them to work as light effects according to the content of the television, computer, music, you need the bridge and the hdmi sync.
The price is a negative aspect.

Use on a 65'' television (with an additional one) in combination with hue sync hdmi hue, color lamp, hue strip for effects in movies and games.
On its own, it leaves gaps on such a screen size, but it is more than sufficient for a monitor.
It can also work as hidden lighting in combination with a hue bridge that enhances the options.

I have nothing negative to say, only positive!!! It syncs with Asus Aura Sync, creates an atmosphere depending on the mood and provides appropriate lighting for gaming, music, or movies!!! If you are someone who likes to have nice lighting in your personal space and relax, I recommend it without reservation!!! It can be placed behind a counter, behind a computer monitor, behind your television, or as hidden lighting, or your own ideas for where to put it. I chose 2 sets for behind the computer and got an Ambient LED Strip behind the television, and it's just perfect. It's a shame that the app for the Samsung television I have is not available in Greece, but of course, it works perfectly with a VPN!!!
