Protected Geographical Indication Tyrnavos Aged Red Wine, variety Merlot. The Crypt keeps well-guarded an attractive bouquet of red fruit and spice aromas with vanilla notes. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months and 6 months in the bottle.
Clear, deep purple color. Soft and aromatic in the mouth with smooth tannins, balanced acidity, and a long aftertaste. On the nose, aromas of red fruits and spices with notes of vanilla-wood are distinguished.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are hand-picked and carefully transferred in small baskets. It is followed by classic red winemaking and fermentation at controlled temperatures up to 28°C in stainless steel fermenters.
