The toasting is excellent, maybe it needs setting 6 or 6/12 for a good toasting of bread slices. However, if you buy packaged toast slices that are long and narrow, for example, from the supermarket, such as baguette, multigrain, whole wheat, etc., there, due to the quality and ingredients of the bread, you may need to select number 7 or even higher, to toast them well and make them brown and crispy. It requires a little experimentation with this type of supermarket bread. But for toast slices, as mentioned above, it's amazing. The grill on which croissants and rolls are placed for warming up, by selecting level 2, is a great convenience. I tried it and they came out wonderful, warm and ready to enjoy. The crumb tray is very helpful in keeping the whole toaster clean. My only objection is that the toasting level selection button is a bit loose when rotating, but I believe it won't be a problem.
