One of the nicest party board games, which also requires a bit of thinking to combine the most 'random' words together. Also, it's fast, a game can last up to 30 minutes max, so that's a positive for those who may not have a lot of free time. Finally, another positive is its price. 20 euros is a very reasonable price for what it offers and the hours it will keep you entertained.

I was crazy about Codenames, but its version for only 2 players didn't satisfy me! In Duet I found what I wanted, the difficulty level goes up a bit but in a very enjoyable way. You can also combine words from other Codenames editions or pictures from the Pictures edition, so no one gets bored. I can say that it is the ultimate word game for 2 people (it can also be played with 2 teams, but I haven't tried that).

Best short couple game I've found so far! Fun, exciting, promoting teamwork, and improving communication! Easy to play at a café, at a friend's house, or at home, at any time! All in all: can't get enough of it!!!

I have played the classic version and I liked it, so I decided to get this one for 2 players to play with my girlfriend. She learned it quickly and she really liked it. The rules are simple.
There are some cards on the table, and some of them you have to find for your teammate. In each round, you say a word that somehow relates to one or more cards that your teammate has to guess. One wrong guess and the round (or even the whole game) is over!

Quite good this variation of Codenames, just after 2-3 times maybe you get bored.
I think it needs more people to be more fun.
Anyway, it's worth its money.
