  • Paper quality
  • Was it interesting enough?
  • I would recommend it for purchase
  • I would choose a book by the same author
  • Incredible illustration. I had it in my childhood and when I bought it for my daughter, she went crazy.

The illustration is something else. Easily the best that has ever existed in a children's book! And just for that, it is worth it, the images are etched in the mind and imagination for decades.... Now the myths as text, they may have been okay 25 years ago when I was a child, but in the year 2023, they seem to be given with a quite strict, moralistic tone, outdated in modern pedagogy (they somewhat excessively emphasize human flaws, justify unusually harsh punishments for relatively human mistakes). That's my opinion, of course. There may be better books with Aesop's fables, but it is impossible, impossible, impossible for there to ever be a more perfect illustration.
