  • Power Supply

The power supply concerns the voltage of the current that the LED strip must have.

    2. If the LED strip does not include a power supply, then the power supply must be purchased separately. We must ensure that the power supply has the corresponding voltage (volt) in order to connect it to the outlet.

    12V

The LED film requires a 12 volt power supply to operate. If the power supply is not included in the package, you will need to purchase it separately.

  • Protection certification

"It is an indicator that shows us the degree of protection of each LED. The indicator (I), which is the first number, refers to protection against dust, and the indicator (P), which is the second number, refers to protection against water. The higher the numbers for each indicator, the better the protection."

    IP65

LED films with an IP65 rating are mainly used in bathrooms and kitchens and have complete protection against splashes, steam, and occasional humidity. They also have high protection against dust.

Description & Specifications

This waterproof LED strip is ideal for all kinds of lighting applications, especially in damp areas like the bathroom or kitchen. With a length of 5 meters, it offers great convenience for installation and decoration. The yellow light it emits creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere in any environment.

The power supply requires 12V, which means it is important to ensure that you have the appropriate power supply if it is not included in the package. The strip needs a power supply with this voltage to function properly.

With SMD5050 LED type, this strip is brighter than others, such as SMD3528, making it ideal for applications with higher brightness requirements and in areas with ambient lighting. Additionally, its power is 14.4 watts per meter, ensuring low energy consumption.

The strip has an IP65 protection certification, providing complete protection against splashes and moisture. This protection rating ensures that it is resistant to humidity and dust conditions.

Additional Features

LED type
SMD5050

LED type

This concerns the dimensions of the LEDs on the strip. For example, an SMD 3528 strip has LEDs with a width of 3.5mm and a length of 2.8mm.

SMD5050
The 5050 LED is brighter than the 3528 and suitable for large surfaces and spaces with ambient light. Additionally, they are better for applications with colors (RGB).
