Classic cutter! I had the exact same one for 20 years... Well, it was time to replace it! I only use it for cabbage. Be careful with your hands, it cuts badly.

It cuts the cabbage very thin and nicely, just be careful not to cut any fingers like with any mandoline you will use.

Made in Greece of excellent quality. Definitely buy the tongs together to cut vegetables because the blade is like a scalpel.

I replaced the corresponding old one that I had from my mother, which was purchased in the 1970s... yes, really. I learned to use it from my childhood (unlike my mother who never used it). I cut potatoes, onions (adding the additional red attachment with extra blades for finer chopping), zucchinis, eggplants. Since I've been using it since I was a child, I never learned to cut potatoes with a knife.
The red accompanying attachment that attaches the vegetables is necessary... otherwise you will cut your hands and it is sold separately.
It offers speed and uniform thickness to all vegetables... Essential in every kitchen.

If the potatoes are hard enough, it can be difficult at times, and you can also easily cut yourself if you're not careful. Ideally, it would be accompanied by an accessory that you use to push the potatoes, especially when they are smaller!

The cutter cuts very well....confirmed by the three stitches I had to get in the emergency room on my thumb from its very first use with an onion....Of course, I was careless. As you can understand, I didn't use it again. I prefer my vegetables not to be perfectly cut and to keep my fingers intact, rather than the opposite since the tool exposes the fingers completely while cutting.

P.S: I'm not uploading a photo for obvious reasons...

It's good. My old one used to cut a bit better.
