Very good work shoes with very good slip resistance, very good laces and grip, and relatively heavy - 750g each in size 42 (normally I would say for good work boots) which obviously become tiring after several hours of work.
If you don't absolutely need them to be boots (which also protect the ankles), then definitely the lower Michelin ankle boots will be slightly lighter if you're looking for something more comfortable for long hours of work.
I have had them for almost 4 months and I only have good things to say... until I have used them many times for climbing on rough mountain slopes without any problems.
The only negative thing I will mention and disappoint many is that they are not 100% waterproof, as they are not 100% breathable (which is logical since they are made of synthetic material), but they are definitely not as bad as some plastic ones that are available.
In heavy water (e.g. heavy rain or walking through wet grass as a friend mentioned), if water constantly stays on the "tongue" of the shoe, it will seep through (not something terrible, but it will seep through).
If someone wants 100% waterproof shoes and the environment they use them in involves a lot of water, then they will have an issue.
P.S.1 These specific boots are one size larger than what we usually wear (e.g. size 42 is for 26.80cm foot length), so trust the size guide.
P.S.2 For fully waterproof shoes, even in heavy rain on a motorcycle, I have other boots (Honeywell Bacou Pro BTP, which unfortunately are not available in Greece) with waterproofed leather (which means the foot breathes 100% and they are 100% waterproof). BUT they happen to be heavier compared to the Michelin ones (by 50g each), so I only use them for a few hours of work or in wet working conditions.
P.S.3 There is no such thing as a reliable and lightweight work/safety boot.
P.S.4 For construction work, they definitely won't withstand it since they are made of synthetic material and not leather, so I recommend looking for something in full leather for construction work, for extremely wet conditions (e.g. a workplace like a car wash or delivery in heavy rain) where the tongue will get wet in front, or for work in a kneeling or squatting position (where the front part bends and will tear on the side), it's better to look for something in full leather because these will "fail" you!
For a harsh work environment where you work in an upright position, they are fine... but in kneeling positions, they will open on the side right after the toe protection.

P.S.5 After having them for 8.5 months and using them for 3 months in a kneeling and squatting position (bending the front part), one boot gave up by opening/detaching on the side right after the toe protection and creating a gap of about 4-5 inches, so it's a shame for the 70+ euros I spent to get them.
So, 2 stars and that's it.

Sturdy and heavy work boots (with a significantly higher price and weight - 950g each, quite heavy), are the CAT Excavator Lt S3.
I have had them for a year with tough use and many kneeling and squatting positions (like the ones above that couldn't handle it), and they still look like new.
Fully thermally insulated, with high-quality interior to prevent foot odor, very good slip resistance, and of course, 100% waterproof.
As for their durability to electricity, I hit them with 220v and I simply felt a tickling sensation in my fingertips.
Πολύ καλά παπούτσια εργασίας με πάρα πολύ καλή αντιολίσθηση,πολύ καλά κορδόνια και πιασίματα αυτών και σχετικά βαριά - 750gr έκαστο στο Νο42 (κανονικά θα έλεγα για καλά μποτάκια εργασίας) τα οποία σαφώς και γίνονται κουραστικά μετά από αρκετές ώρες εργασίας.
Αν δεν σας ενδιαφέρει απόλυτα να είναι μποτάκι (το οποίο προστατεύει και τους αστραγάλους) τότε σίγουρα τα χαμηλότερα ημιμποτάκια της Michelin θα είναι λίγο πιο ελαφριά αν ψάχνετε για κάτι πιο ξεκούραστο και για πολλές ώρες εργασίας.
Τα έχω σχεδόν 4 μήνες και μόνο καλά έχω να πω ,,, μέχρι που τα έχω χρησιμοποιήσει ουκ ολίγες φορές για αναρρίχηση σε κακοτράχαλες πλαγιές βουνών,χωρίς να με προβληματίσουν καθόλου.
Στο μόνο που θα είμαι αρνητικός και θα απογοητεύσω αρκετούς,δεν είναι 100% αδιάβροχα όπως δεν είναι και 100% αναπνεόμενα (λογικό μιας και είναι από συνθετικό υλικό) αλλά σε καμμία περίπτωση τραγικά σαν κάτι πλαστικούρες που κυκλοφορούν.
Σε πάρα πολλά νερά (π.χ καταρρακτώδη βροχή ή περπάτημα ανάμεσα σε βρεγμένα χόρτα όπως είπε κάποιος φίλος),εφόσον το νερό βρίσκει συνέχεια στην "γλώσσα" του παπουτσιού,θα περάσουν νερά (όχι κάτι τραγικό αλλά,θα περάσουν).
Αν θέλει κάποιος 100% αδιάβροχα παπούτσια και το περιβάλλον το οποίο τα χρησιμοποιεί είναι με πολλά νερά ε τότε,θα έχει ένα θέμα.
Υ.Γ1 Τα συγκεκριμένα μποτάκια είναι κατά ένα νούμερο μεγαλύτερα από αυτά που συνήθως φοράμε (π.χ το Νο42 είναι για 26.80cm μήκος πέλματος) οπότε,εμπιστευθείτε τον οδηγό μεγεθών.
Υ.Γ2 Για φουλ αδιάβροχα,ακόμα και σε καταρρακτώδη βροχή επάνω σε μηχανάκι,έχω άλλα μποτάκια (τα Honeywell Bacou Pro BTP-τα οποία ΔΥΣΤΥΧΩΣ δεν κυκλοφορούν στην Ελλάδα),με αδιαβροχοποιημένο δέρμα (πράγμα που σημαίνει ότι το πόδι αναπνέει 100% και είναι 100% αδιάβροχα) ΑΛΛΑ τυγχάνει να είναι και πιο βαριά σε σχέση με τα Michelin (κατά 50gr έκαστο) οπότε τα χρησιμοποιώ μόνο για λίγες ώρες εργασίας ή σε πιο υγρές συνθήκες εργασίας.
Υ.Γ3 Γενικά αξιόπιστο μποτάκι εργασίας/ασφαλείας και ελαφρύ,δεν υπάρχει.
Υ.Γ4 Για οικοδομή σίγουρα δεν θα αντέξει μιας και είναι από συνθετικό υλικό κι όχι από δέρμα οπότε,σας προτείνω για οικοδομικές εργασίες,για ιδιαίτερα πολλά νερά (για εργασιακό χώρο τύπου πλυντηρίου αυτοκινήτου ή ντελίβερι με καταρρακτώδη βροχή) όπου θα βρέχεται η γλώσσα μπροστά ή για εργασία σε θέση ημικάθισμα ή γονατιστός (όπου λυγίζει το εμπρόσθιο μέρος και θα σκιστεί στο πλάι),καλύτερα να κοιτάξετε κάτι σε φουλ δερμάτινα γιατί αυτά,θα σας "πουλήσουν" !!!.
Για σκληρό περιβάλλον εργασίας όπου η εργασία σας είναι σε όρθια στάση,μια χαρά είναι ..... σε γονατίσματα,θα ανοίξουν στο πλάι,αμέσως μετά την προστασία δακτύλων.

Υ.Γ5 Μετά από 8.5 μήνες που τα έχω στην κατοχή μου και μετά από 3 μήνες που τα δούλευα σε θέση ημικάθισμα και γονατιστός (λυγίζοντας το εμπρόσθιο μέρος),το ένα μποτάκι παρέδωσε πνεύμα ανοίγοντας/ξεκολλώντας στο πλάι-αμέσως μετά την προστασία δακτύλων και ανοίγοντας μια σχισμή μεγέθους 4-5 πόντους οπότε,ΚΡΙΜΑ τα 70+ ευρώ που έδωσα για να τα αποκτήσω.
Οπότε,2 αστέρια και πολλά τους είναι.

ΣΚΥΛΙΑ και στοιβαρά μποτάκια εργασίας (με ΣΑΦΩΣ μεγαλύτερη τιμή & μεγαλύτερο βάρος-950gr το κάθε ένα,αρκετά βαριά δηλαδή),είναι τα CAT Excavator Lt S3.
Τα έχω ένα χρόνο και με σκληρή χρήση και πολλά ημικαθίσματα και γονατίσματα (όπως τα παραπάνω που δεν άντεξαν όμως) και παραμένουν σαν καινούργια.
Πλήρως θερμομονωτικά,με ποιοτικό εσωτερικό ώστε να μην μυρίζουν τα πόδια,πάρα πολύ καλή αντιολίσθηση και φυσικά,100% αδιάβροχα.
Όσο για την αντοχή τους σε ρεύμα,με χτύπησε 220v και ένοιωσα,απλά ένα γαργάλιμα στα ακροδάχτυλα.
Very good boots for winter. Their size is a bit larger for my size, I wear 44 in sports shoes. Probably for summer you need one size smaller because you wear thinner socks.
Πολύ καλές μπότες για χειμώνα. Το μέγεθός τους λίγο μεγαλύτερο για το νούμερό μου, φοράω 44 σε αθλητικά. μάλλον για καλοκαίρι θέλει ένα νούμερο μικρότερο γιατί φοράς και πιο λεπτές κάλτσες.
I have been wearing safety shoes for several years. They are lightweight, my foot doesn't sweat, and I feel my ankle is protected, since I have twisted my feet several times.
Φοράω αρκετά χρόνια παπούτσια ασφαλείας. Είναι ελαφριά, δεν ιδρώνει το πόδι και νοιώθω πριστατευμένο τον αστράγαλο, μιας κι έχω στραμπουλήξει τα πόδια κάμποσες φορές.

I got them because for the last few years I've been working in fruit processing factories. Mainly for their basic property....FULL GRIP. With water on the floors or anything else, I needed slip resistance! And they have it! They are waterproof. In the sense that the foot does not get wet. And even though they have steel, they didn't tire me at all! I felt them light! I have no regrets about purchasing them!
Τα πήρα γιατί τα τελευταία χρόνια εργάζομαι σε εργοστάσια επεξεργασίας φρούτων. Κυρίως για την βασική τους ιδιότητα....FULL GRIP. Με τα νερά κάτω στα πατώματα ή οτιδήποτε άλλο, χρειαζόμουν αντιολίσθηση! Και την έχουν! Είναι αδιάβροχα. Με την έννοια ότι δεν βρέχεται το πόδι. Και παρόλο που έχουν και σίδερο, δεν με κούρασαν καθόλου! Ελαφριά τα ένιωθα! Δεν μετάνιωσα καθόλου για την αγορά τους!
The worst.. I bought them thinking they were good and they turned out to be trash, in the first week the clip on the right shoe broke at the laces, after two months on the boat they opened at the side.. better stay away, spend a little more and get something else, they are not worth it!!

One of the worst shoes, even though I had bought it as better than the ergo bicap s3, I ultimately regretted it after 3 months. It's relatively heavy, slips, and opened up like a rose on the sides. I stitched it, and in a month, the other one opened up too.
Από τα χειρότερα παπούτσια παρόλο που το είχα πάρει για καλύτερο από το ergo bicap s3 τελικά το μετάνιωσα πάνω σε 3μηνες, σχετικά βαρύ γλιστράει και άνοιξε σαν τριαντάφυλλο στα πλάγια το εραψα και σε ένα μήνα άνοιξε και το άλλο.
We got size 43 because we wear size 43 in safety shoes... They were too small for us. We gave them as a gift elsewhere and ordered size 44, but they were huge for us. Nevertheless, the shoes are of good quality and durable.
Πήραμε 43 γιατί φοράμε 43 σε παπούτσια ασφαλείας... Μας βρήκαν μικρά. Τα κάναμε δώρο αλλού και παραγειλαμε 44 και μας ήταν τεράστια. Παρόλα αυτά, τα παπούτσια είναι ποιοτικά και ανθεκτικά.
After 1 and a half years on a construction site, they still hold up. They are very lightweight and comfortable on the foot, and after 12 hours of work, they do not slip on oil and ice. They are waterproof in reasonable conditions. As soon as they break, I will buy them again. I highly recommend them, they are worth the purchase

As an electrician working in construction sites and coming from a pair of 170 euro boots from beta..these are lighter..I wear them from 8 in the morning until late at night for over 12+ hours...you forget that you are wearing work boots..you have the impression that you are wearing a good hiking boot somehow..quite comfortable after a few days..at first, you may feel a bit uncomfortable in the toe area...very good grip on slippery surfaces with the Michellin sole..very good temperature control whether it's summer or winter..not so waterproof because as soon as water reaches the tongue, it starts to get wet..as for protection against electric current, I happened to get hit by medium voltage and I barely felt it..the screwdriver, imagine, it lights up even if you don't touch the wall with bare hands..generally, for the money, I expected them to last a little longer because after 1 year they opened on the sides, both of them (probably due to kneeling for cables and boxes)..I might get them again..although I will now try the cofra since it's cheaper and has very good reviews..if they don't suit me, I will definitely go back to this one.
Ως ηλεκτρολόγος σε οικοδομές και εργοταξια και προερχόμενος από beta μποτάκι των 170 ευρώ..αυτά είναι πιο ελαφριά..τα φοράω από τις 8 το πρωι μέχρι αργά το βράδυ πάνω από 12+ ώρες...ξεχνας ότι φοράς μποτάκι εργασιας..εχεις την εντύπωση ότι φοράς ένα καλό ορειβατικό καπως..αρκετά μαλακά μετα από κάποιες μέρες..στην αρχή μπορεί να ενοχληθείς κάπως μπροστά στα δαχτυλα...πάρα πολύ καλό κράτημα σε γλιστρερο έδαφος με την σόλα by Michellin..πολύ καλή διατήρηση της θερμοκρασίας είτε καλοκαίρι είτε χειμώνα..όχι τόσο αδιάβροχα διότι μόλις φτάσει το νερό στην γλώσσα αρχίζει να μουσκευει..όσο αφορα την προστασία σε ρεύμα έτυχε να με χτυπήσει μέση τάση και ίσα που το ενιωσα..το κατσαβίδι να φανταστείτε ανάβει ισα ίσα αν δεν ακουμπήσεις τοίχο με γυμνό χερι ..γενικά για τα χρήματα περίμενα να αντέξουν λιγάκι παραπάνω διότι μετά από 1 χρόνο άνοιξαν στο πλάι και τα 2(μάλλον λόγο γονατισματος για πρόζες και κυτια) ..μπορεί και να τα ξαναπάρω..αν και θα δοκιμάσω τώρα το cofra μιας και πιο φτηνό και με πολύ καλά σχόλια.. αν δεν με βολεψουν θα γυρίσω σε αυτό πάλι σίγουρα.

The shoes are value for money.
Pay attention to the size, consult the guide. It is not a heavy shoe, it will take the shape of the foot in two days, it may bother a little on the first day on the front inner part which is the iron. I also added an insole from the market and it was perfect and maintains ideal temperature inside. I used it for olive picking and hunting. It is waterproof and not just in moisture, I stepped in mud. Very good sole, it does not slip. Convenient laces, easy to put on and take off. I am very satisfied

Προσοχή στο νούμερο συμβουλευτείτε τον οδηγο. Δεν είναι βαρύ παπούτσι μέσα σε δυο μερες θα πάρει το σχήμα του ποδιού ,ίσως ενοχλήσει λίγο την πρώτη ήμερα στο μπροστά εσωτερικο μέρος που είναι το σιδερο.εβαλα και εναν πατο του εμπορίου και ήταν άψογο και κρατεί ιδανική θερμοκρασία εσωτερικα.το χρησιμοποίησα για μάζεμα ελιάς και για κυνήγι. είναι αδιάβροχο και όχι απλα σε υγρασία βούταγα σε λάσπες. πολύ καλή σολα δεν γλιστράει. βολικά κορδόνια μπαίνει βγαίνει ανετα. έμεινα πολύ ευχαριστημένος
One of the most amazing boots I have ever worn comfortably, warm without iron with unnecessary weight but with S3 technology and the Michellen seal!!! I use them in agricultural work, they don't slip a lot, especially now during olive picking on the olive groves! I got them at a slightly lower price but I highly recommend them without hesitation!!!

I have had them for about a year now. I chose them because the reviews I read praised them. However, I have noticed that they are now very contradictory. This obviously happens because everyone uses them for different purposes, so opinions cannot coincide.
I bought them (besides the need for S3 standard due to work) for the waterproof feature they claimed to have. I work as a technician, carrying my tools on a motorcycle, so I wanted something that would be warm and waterproof enough for a light rain. This never happened! Whenever it rained while riding the motorcycle, my feet got wet. Even wearing waterproof overalls, my shoes still managed to get wet. Maybe they are more suitable for static work like gas stations, but not for motorcycles. Also, they were not as warm as I expected. With the same good socks I wore before getting them, my feet felt the cold.
Again, I always mean for use on a motorcycle and visits to buildings.
So yes, their purchase was probably pointless for my case.
Now, their positives.
They are, for me at least, very comfortable! My feet never complained about comfort! Also, they are indeed incredibly slip-resistant! So much so that when I switch to regular shoes, I forget and slip.
In conclusion, I believe they are very good shoes, they just didn't fit my needs.
Τα έχω κανα χρόνο πλέον κι εγώ. Τα επέλεξα καθώς οι κριτικές που διάβαζα τα εκθειαζαν. Διαπιστώνω όμως ότι είναι πλέον πολύ αντιφατικές. Αυτό προφανώς συμβαίνει γιατί ο καθένας τα χρησιμοποιεί για κάτι διαφορετικό οπότε οι γνώμες δεν μπορεί να ταυτίζονται.
Εγώ τα πήρα (πέρα της ανάγκης για S3 πρότυπο λόγω δουλειάς) και για την αδιάβροχη ιδιότητα που έταζαν. Δουλεύω τεχνικός, με μηχανάκι κουβαλώντας τα εργαλεία μου οπότε ήθελα κάτι που θα είναι ζεστό και αρκουντως αδιάβροχο για μια μέση βροχουλα. Αυτό δεν συνέβη ποτέ! Στο μηχανάκι όποτε κι αν με έπιασε βροχή,τα πόδια μου μουσκεψαν. Ακόμα και φορώντας αδιάβροχα πλήρη, τα παπούτσια κατάφεραν και μουσκεψαν. Ίσως είναι για πιο στατικές εργασίες όπως πχ βενζινάδικα,αλλά για μηχανάκι όχι. Επίσης δεν ήταν και όσο ζεστά θ περίμενα. Με τις ίδιες καλές κάλτσες που φόραγα και πριν τα πάρω, τα πόδια στα καλά κρύα την άκουγαν.
Ξαναλέω, πάντα για χρήση σε μηχανάκι και επισκέψεις σε κτίρια.
Οπότε ναι, μάλλον ήταν άκυρη η αγορά τους για την περίπτωση μου.
Τα θετικα τους τώρα.
Είναι, για μένα τουλάχιστον,πολύ άνετα! Το πόδι δεν διαμαρτυρήθηκε καθόλου ποτέ από θέμα άνεσης! Επίσης είναι όντως φοβερά αντιολισθητικα! Τόσο που όταν αλλάζω σε κανονικά παπούτσια ξεχνιέμαι και γλιστράω.
Εν κατακλείδι, θεωρώ πως είναι πολύ καλά παπούτσια απλώς δεν ταίριαξαν στις ανάγκες μου.
I am a truck driver and I wear them every day, I bought them in November and the right shoe "opened" in late April, possibly because it was touching the engine cover. As a shoe, it is very good for its price and it doesn't tire my feet, I highly recommend it and of course I will buy them again!
Είμαι οδηγός φορτηγού και τα φοράω καθημερινά, τα αγόρασα τον Νοέμβριο και το δεξί παπούτσι "άνοιξε" στα τέλη Απριλίου, πιθανόν γιατί ακούμπαγε στο κάλυμμα του κινητήρα, Σαν παπούτσι είναι πολύ καλό για τα λεφτά του και δεν μου κουράζει τα πόδια, το προτείνω ανεπιφύλαχτα και φυσικά θα τα ξαναπάρω!
They are worth their money in terms of quality, but be careful: they are a hard shoe. This means that if you weigh less than 70 kilograms, they will never soften and they will hit your feet so hard that you won't be able to wear them.
Other than that, they are indeed an S3 shoe, but their construction is more suitable for workshops, ships, gas stations, NOT for construction.

Κατά τα άλλα, είναι S3 παπούτσι όντως αλλά η κατασκευή του προτείνεται περισσότερο για συνεργεία, καράβια, βενζινάδικα ΚΑΙ ΟΧΙ για οικοδομή.
They lasted 9 months on the construction site. The seams opened on the 8th month. The sole underneath started wearing out a lot after the 5th month. Overall, I would not recommend them for construction. They don't hold up.

I bought them a year ago. They lasted without much wear and tear. They came apart and ripped on the sides. I couldn't wear them every day because of what would happen to them. Much fuss over nothing. It's a shame because they look nice

The shoes are very comfortable and durable, they withstand dust and heavy objects falling on them, the laces don't easily break. The negative aspect is that they become heavy after wearing them for a few hours. Another thing is that the leather they have requires maintenance. You need to treat it with some kind of leather dye, otherwise they won't last long.
Τα παπούτσια είναι πολυ καλά άνετα αντέχουν σε σκόνες,πτώσεις βαρέων πραγμάτων τα κορδόνια δεν κόβουν εύκολα το αρνητικό ειναι οτι με τις ωρες καταντανε βαριά.

I wear it for a month at a construction site in the mountains with regular athletic socks and with temperatures ranging from -4 to 0 degrees for 8-9 hours, the shoe is warm. It doesn't burn my foot, but compared to what I had before, it keeps my feet at a very comfortable level. They are comfortable to the point that I now wear them while driving to work, which takes about 1 hour. In terms of waterproofing, I wash them after mud and such, under a faucet or in streams, and even though I feel that water passes through where it gets wet, it actually doesn't pass through, it's just that because the water is frozen, I feel it that way. So, the pros are that they are comfortable, warm, and waterproof. Today, I kicked a stone and gave them their first hit, and I hope they don't get wet. I clean them with water and a damp cloth every day at home!
I will probably buy them again if they prove to last for a year. They are work shoes, so let's invest in them and not in one pair every 2-3 years!
Το φοράω ένα μήνα σε εργοτάξιο στο βουνό με απλές κάλτσες αθλητικές και με -4 έως 0 βαθμούς 8-9ώρες το παπούτσι είναι ζεστό. Δεν καίει το πόδι αλλά σε σχέση με ότι άλλο είχα μου κρατάει τα πόδια σε πολύ επιτρεπτά επίπεδα. Είναι άνετα σε φάση που τα φοράω πλέον και στην οδήγηση προς τη δουλειά δλδ 1ω και.. Από θέμα αδιαβροχοποιησης τα πλένω μετά από λάσπες κτλ κάτω από βρύση ή μέσα σε ρυάκια και ενώ αισθάνομαι ότι εκεί που βρέχεται περνάει το νερό δεν περνάει,απλά επειδή είναι παγωμένο το νερό το αισθάνομαι έτσι οποτε στα συν είναι ότι είναι άνετα,ζεστά και αδιάβροχα.. Σήμερα κλώτσησα μια πέτρα και τους έκανα τον πρώτο τσαμπουκά μπροστά και ελπίζω να μην πάρει νερό.. καθάρισμα με νερό και στο σπίτι βρεγμένο πανάκι κάθε μέρα !!
Λογικά θα τα ξαναπάρω εάν αποδείξουν ότι αντέχουν 1 χρόνο.. Παπούτσια εργασίας είναι ας επενδύουμε σε αυτά και όχι 1 ζευγάρι στα 2-3 χρόνια !!
Perfect shoe... I used it in very difficult conditions on roofs, mud, and rocks that other shoes couldn't handle (they would tear apart). It's quite waterproof and even if water gets inside, you don't feel it as warm as it is... They don't slip at all!!! I also added a shcoll insole and it's really perfect... I recommend them!!! Now I will buy them again after 2 and a half years
Τέλειο παπούτσι... το χρησιμοποίησα σε αρκετά δύσκολες συνθήκες σε στέγες,λάσπες και πέτρες που Άλλα παπούτσια δεν κρατούσαν(σκιζοντουσαν) αρκετά αδιάβροχο και αν παιρνουσε νερό μέσα δεν το ένιωσες τόσο ζεστά που ήταν... Very good work shoes with very good slip resistance, very good laces and grip, and relatively heavy - 750g each in size 42 (normally I would say for good work boots) which obviously become tiring after several hours of work.
If you don't absolutely need them to be boots (which also protect the ankles), then definitely the lower Michelin ankle boots will be slightly lighter if you're looking for something more comfortable for long hours of work.
I have had them for almost 4 months and I only have good things to say... until I have used them many times for climbing on rough mountain slopes without any problems.
The only negative thing I will mention and disappoint many is that they are not 100% waterproof, as they are not 100% breathable (which is logical since they are made of synthetic material), but they are definitely not as bad as some plastic ones that are available.
In heavy water (e.g. heavy rain or walking through wet grass as a friend mentioned), if water constantly stays on the "tongue" of the shoe, it will seep through (not something terrible, but it will seep through).
If someone wants 100% waterproof shoes and the environment they use them in involves a lot of water, then they will have an issue.
P.S.1 These specific boots are one size larger than what we usually wear (e.g. size 42 is for 26.80cm foot length), so trust the size guide.
P.S.2 For fully waterproof shoes, even in heavy rain on a motorcycle, I have other boots (Honeywell Bacou Pro BTP, which unfortunately are not available in Greece) with waterproofed leather (which means the foot breathes 100% and they are 100% waterproof). BUT they happen to be heavier compared to the Michelin ones (by 50g each), so I only use them for a few hours of work or in wet working conditions.
P.S.3 There is no such thing as a reliable and lightweight work/safety boot.
P.S.4 For construction work, they definitely won't withstand it since they are made of synthetic material and not leather, so I recommend looking for something in full leather for construction work, for extremely wet conditions (e.g. a workplace like a car wash or delivery in heavy rain) where the tongue will get wet in front, or for work in a kneeling or squatting position (where the front part bends and will tear on the side), it's better to look for something in full leather because these will "fail" you!
For a harsh work environment where you work in an upright position, they are fine... but in kneeling positions, they will open on the side right after the toe protection.

P.S.5 After having them for 8.5 months and using them for 3 months in a kneeling and squatting position (bending the front part), one boot gave up by opening/detaching on the side right after the toe protection and creating a gap of about 4-5 inches, so it's a shame for the 70+ euros I spent to get them.
So, 2 stars and that's it.

Sturdy and heavy work boots (with a significantly higher price and weight - 950g each, quite heavy), are the CAT Excavator Lt S3.
I have had them for a year with tough use and many kneeling and squatting positions (like the ones above that couldn't handle it), and they still look like new.
Fully thermally insulated, with high-quality interior to prevent foot odor, very good slip resistance, and of course, 100% waterproof.
As for their durability to electricity, I hit them with 220v and I simply felt a tickling sensation in my fingertips.
Πολύ καλά παπούτσια εργασίας με πάρα πολύ καλή αντιολίσθηση,πολύ καλά κορδόνια και πιασίματα αυτών και σχετικά βαριά - 750gr έκαστο στο Νο42 (κανονικά θα έλεγα για καλά μποτάκια εργασίας) τα οποία σαφώς και γίνονται κουραστικά μετά από αρκετές ώρες εργασίας.
Αν δεν σας ενδιαφέρει απόλυτα να είναι μποτάκι (το οποίο προστατεύει και τους αστραγάλους) τότε σίγουρα τα χαμηλότερα ημιμποτάκια της Michelin θα είναι λίγο πιο ελαφριά αν ψάχνετε για κάτι πιο ξεκούραστο και για πολλές ώρες εργασίας.
Τα έχω σχεδόν 4 μήνες και μόνο καλά έχω να πω ,,, μέχρι που τα έχω χρησιμοποιήσει ουκ ολίγες φορές για αναρρίχηση σε κακοτράχαλες πλαγιές βουνών,χωρίς να με προβληματίσουν καθόλου.
Στο μόνο που θα είμαι αρνητικός και θα απογοητεύσω αρκετούς,δεν είναι 100% αδιάβροχα όπως δεν είναι και 100% αναπνεόμενα (λογικό μιας και είναι από συνθετικό υλικό) αλλά σε καμμία περίπτωση τραγικά σαν κάτι πλαστικούρες που κυκλοφορούν.
Σε πάρα πολλά νερά (π.χ καταρρακτώδη βροχή ή περπάτημα ανάμεσα σε βρεγμένα χόρτα όπως είπε κάποιος φίλος),εφόσον το νερό βρίσκει συνέχεια στην "γλώσσα" του παπουτσιού,θα περάσουν νερά (όχι κάτι τραγικό αλλά,θα περάσουν).
Αν θέλει κάποιος 100% αδιάβροχα παπούτσια και το περιβάλλον το οποίο τα χρησιμοποιεί είναι με πολλά νερά ε τότε,θα έχει ένα θέμα.
Υ.Γ1 Τα συγκεκριμένα μποτάκια είναι κατά ένα νούμερο μεγαλύτερα από αυτά που συνήθως φοράμε (π.χ το Νο42 είναι για 26.80cm μήκος πέλματος) οπότε,εμπιστευθείτε τον οδηγό μεγεθών.
Υ.Γ2 Για φουλ αδιάβροχα,ακόμα και σε καταρρακτώδη βροχή επάνω σε μηχανάκι,έχω άλλα μποτάκια (τα Honeywell Bacou Pro BTP-τα οποία ΔΥΣΤΥΧΩΣ δεν κυκλοφορούν στην Ελλάδα),με αδιαβροχοποιημένο δέρμα (πράγμα που σημαίνει ότι το πόδι αναπνέει 100% και είναι 100% αδιάβροχα) ΑΛΛΑ τυγχάνει να είναι και πιο βαριά σε σχέση με τα Michelin (κατά 50gr έκαστο) οπότε τα χρησιμοποιώ μόνο για λίγες ώρες εργασίας ή σε πιο υγρές συνθήκες εργασίας.
Υ.Γ3 Γενικά αξιόπιστο μποτάκι εργασίας/ασφαλείας και ελαφρύ,δεν υπάρχει.
Υ.Γ4 Για οικοδομή σίγουρα δεν θα αντέξει μιας και είναι από συνθετικό υλικό κι όχι από δέρμα οπότε,σας προτείνω για οικοδομικές εργασίες,για ιδιαίτερα πολλά νερά (για εργασιακό χώρο τύπου πλυντηρίου αυτοκινήτου ή ντελίβερι με καταρρακτώδη βροχή) όπου θα βρέχεται η γλώσσα μπροστά ή για εργασία σε θέση ημικάθισμα ή γονατιστός (όπου λυγίζει το εμπρόσθιο μέρος και θα σκιστεί στο πλάι),καλύτερα να κοιτάξετε κάτι σε φουλ δερμάτινα γιατί αυτά,θα σας "πουλήσουν" !!!.
Για σκληρό περιβάλλον εργασίας όπου η εργασία σας είναι σε όρθια στάση,μια χαρά είναι ..... σε γονατίσματα,θα ανοίξουν στο πλάι,αμέσως μετά την προστασία δακτύλων.

Υ.Γ5 Μετά από 8.5 μήνες που τα έχω στην κατοχή μου και μετά από 3 μήνες που τα δούλευα σε θέση ημικάθισμα και γονατιστός (λυγίζοντας το εμπρόσθιο μέρος),το ένα μποτάκι παρέδωσε πνεύμα ανοίγοντας/ξεκολλώντας στο πλάι-αμέσως μετά την προστασία δακτύλων και ανοίγοντας μια σχισμή μεγέθους 4-5 πόντους οπότε,ΚΡΙΜΑ τα 70+ ευρώ που έδωσα για να τα αποκτήσω.
Οπότε,2 αστέρια και πολλά τους είναι.

ΣΚΥΛΙΑ και στοιβαρά μποτάκια εργασίας (με ΣΑΦΩΣ μεγαλύτερη τιμή & μεγαλύτερο βάρος-950gr το κάθε ένα,αρκετά βαριά δηλαδή),είναι τα CAT Excavator Lt S3.
Τα έχω ένα χρόνο και με σκληρή χρήση και πολλά ημικαθίσματα και γονατίσματα (όπως τα παραπάνω που δεν άντεξαν όμως) και παραμένουν σαν καινούργια.
Πλήρως θερμομονωτικά,με ποιοτικό εσωτερικό ώστε να μην μυρίζουν τα πόδια,πάρα πολύ καλή αντιολίσθηση και φυσικά,100% αδιάβροχα.
Όσο για την αντοχή τους σε ρεύμα,με χτύπησε 220v και ένοιωσα,απλά ένα γαργάλιμα στα ακροδάχτυλα.

The worst.. I bought them thinking they were good and they turned out to be trash, in the first week the clip on the right shoe broke at the laces, after two months on the boat they opened at the side.. better stay away, spend a little more and get something else, they are not worth it!!

One of the worst shoes, even though I had bought it as better than the ergo bicap s3, I ultimately regretted it after 3 months. It's relatively heavy, slips, and opened up like a rose on the sides. I stitched it, and in a month, the other one opened up too.
Από τα χειρότερα παπούτσια παρόλο που το είχα πάρει για καλύτερο από το ergo bicap s3 τελικά το μετάνιωσα πάνω σε 3μηνες, σχετικά βαρύ γλιστράει και άνοιξε σαν τριαντάφυλλο στα πλάγια το εραψα και σε ένα μήνα άνοιξε και το άλλο.
We got size 43 because we wear size 43 in safety shoes... They were too small for us. We gave them as a gift elsewhere and ordered size 44, but they were huge for us. Nevertheless, the shoes are of good quality and durable.

After 1 and a half years on a construction site, they still hold up. They are very lightweight and comfortable on the foot, and after 12 hours of work, they do not slip on oil and ice. As an electrician working in construction sites and coming from a pair of 170 euro boots from beta..these are lighter..I wear them from 8 in the morning until late at night for over 12+ hours...you forget that you are wearing work boots..you have the impression that you are wearing a good hiking boot somehow..quite comfortable after a few days..at first, you may feel a bit uncomfortable in the toe area...very good grip on slippery surfaces with the Michellin sole..very good temperature control whether it's summer or winter..not so waterproof because as soon as water reaches the tongue, it starts to get wet..as for protection against electric current, I happened to get hit by medium voltage and I barely felt it..the screwdriver, imagine, it lights up even if you don't touch the wall with bare hands..generally, for the money, I expected them to last a little longer because after 1 year they opened on the sides, both of them (probably due to kneeling for cables and boxes)..I might get them again..although I will now try the cofra since it's cheaper and has very good reviews..if they don't suit me, I will definitely go back to this one.
Ως ηλεκτρολόγος σε οικοδομές και εργοταξια και προερχόμενος από beta μποτάκι των 170 ευρώ..αυτά είναι πιο ελαφριά..τα φοράω από τις 8 το πρωι μέχρι αργά το βράδυ πάνω από 12+ ώρες...ξεχνας ότι φοράς μποτάκι εργασιας..εχεις την εντύπωση ότι φοράς ένα καλό ορειβατικό καπως..αρκετά μαλακά μετα από κάποιες μέρες..στην αρχή μπορεί να ενοχληθείς κάπως μπροστά στα δαχτυλα...πάρα πολύ καλό κράτημα σε γλιστρερο έδαφος με την σόλα by Michellin..πολύ καλή διατήρηση της θερμοκρασίας είτε καλοκαίρι είτε χειμώνα..όχι τόσο αδιάβροχα διότι μόλις φτάσει το νερό στην γλώσσα αρχίζει να μουσκευει..όσο αφορα την προστασία σε ρεύμα έτυχε να με χτυπήσει μέση τάση και ίσα που το ενιωσα..το κατσαβίδι να φανταστείτε ανάβει ισα ίσα αν δεν ακουμπήσεις τοίχο με γυμνό χερι ..γενικά για τα χρήματα περίμενα να αντέξουν λιγάκι παραπάνω διότι μετά από 1 χρόνο άνοιξαν στο πλάι και τα 2(μάλλον λόγο γονατισματος για πρόζες και κυτια) ..μπορεί και να τα ξαναπάρω..αν και θα δοκιμάσω τώρα το cofra μιας και πιο φτηνό και με πολύ καλά σχόλια.. αν δεν με βολεψουν θα γυρίσω σε αυτό πάλι σίγουρα.
I have had the shoe for two and a half years and it is worth every penny. I will definitely buy it again when the ones I have break. I highly recommend it

The shoes are value for money.
Pay attention to the size, consult the guide. It is not a heavy shoe, it will take the shape of the foot in two days, it may bother a little on the first day on the front inner part which is the iron. I also added an insole from the market and it was perfect and maintains ideal temperature inside. I used it for olive picking and hunting. It is waterproof and not just in moisture, I stepped in mud. Very good sole, it does not slip. Convenient laces, easy to put on and take off. I am very satisfied

Προσοχή στο νούμερο συμβουλευτείτε τον οδηγο. Δεν είναι βαρύ παπούτσι μέσα σε δυο μερες θα πάρει το σχήμα του ποδιού ,ίσως ενοχλήσει λίγο την πρώτη ήμερα στο μπροστά εσωτερικο μέρος που είναι το σιδερο.εβαλα και εναν πατο του εμπορίου και ήταν άψογο και κρατεί ιδανική θερμοκρασία εσωτερικα.το χρησιμοποίησα για μάζεμα ελιάς και για κυνήγι. είναι αδιάβροχο και όχι απλα σε υγρασία βούταγα σε λάσπες. πολύ καλή σολα δεν γλιστράει. βολικά κορδόνια μπαίνει βγαίνει ανετα. έμεινα πολύ ευχαριστημένος
One of the most amazing boots I have ever worn comfortably, warm without iron with unnecessary weight but with S3 technology and the Michellen seal!!! I use them in agricultural work, they don't slip a lot, especially now during olive picking on the olive groves! I got them at a slightly lower price but I highly recommend them without hesitation!!!

One of the best I have personally worn. Just be careful with the size, it is one size smaller than the branded ones. I would definitely buy it again. Comfortable and stylish.

I have had them for about a year now. I chose them because the reviews I read praised them. However, I have noticed that they are now very contradictory. This obviously happens because everyone uses them for different purposes, so opinions cannot coincide.
I bought them (besides the need for S3 standard due to work) for the waterproof feature they claimed to have. I work as a technician, carrying my tools on a motorcycle, so I wanted something that would be warm and waterproof enough for a light rain. This never happened! Whenever it rained while riding the motorcycle, my feet got wet. Even wearing waterproof overalls, my shoes still managed to get wet. Maybe they are more suitable for static work like gas stations, but not for motorcycles. Also, they were not as warm as I expected. With the same good socks I wore before getting them, my feet felt the cold.
Again, I always mean for use on a motorcycle and visits to buildings.
So yes, their purchase was probably pointless for my case.
Now, their positives.
They are, for me at least, very comfortable! My feet never complained about comfort! Also, they are indeed incredibly slip-resistant! So much so that when I switch to regular shoes, I forget and slip.
In conclusion, I believe they are very good shoes, they just didn't fit my needs.
Τα έχω κανα χρόνο πλέον κι εγώ. Τα επέλεξα καθώς οι κριτικές που διάβαζα τα εκθειαζαν. Διαπιστώνω όμως ότι είναι πλέον πολύ αντιφατικές. Αυτό προφανώς συμβαίνει γιατί ο καθένας τα χρησιμοποιεί για κάτι διαφορετικό οπότε οι γνώμες δεν μπορεί να ταυτίζονται.
Εγώ τα πήρα (πέρα της ανάγκης για S3 πρότυπο λόγω δουλειάς) και για την αδιάβροχη ιδιότητα που έταζαν. Δουλεύω τεχνικός, με μηχανάκι κουβαλώντας τα εργαλεία μου οπότε ήθελα κάτι που θα είναι ζεστό και αρκουντως αδιάβροχο για μια μέση βροχουλα. Αυτό δεν συνέβη ποτέ! Στο μηχανάκι όποτε κι αν με έπιασε βροχή,τα πόδια μου μουσκεψαν. Ακόμα και φορώντας αδιάβροχα πλήρη, τα παπούτσια κατάφεραν και μουσκεψαν. Ίσως είναι για πιο στατικές εργασίες όπως πχ βενζινάδικα,αλλά για μηχανάκι όχι. Επίσης δεν ήταν και όσο ζεστά θ περίμενα. Με τις ίδιες καλές κάλτσες που φόραγα και πριν τα πάρω, τα πόδια στα καλά κρύα την άκουγαν.
Ξαναλέω, πάντα για χρήση σε μηχανάκι και επισκέψεις σε κτίρια.
Οπότε ναι, μάλλον ήταν άκυρη η αγορά τους για την περίπτωση μου.
Τα θετικα τους τώρα.
Είναι, για μένα τουλάχιστον,πολύ άνετα! Το πόδι δεν διαμαρτυρήθηκε καθόλου ποτέ από θέμα άνεσης! Επίσης είναι όντως φοβερά αντιολισθητικα! Τόσο που όταν αλλάζω σε κανονικά παπούτσια ξεχνιέμαι και γλιστράω.
Εν κατακλείδι, θεωρώ πως είναι πολύ καλά παπούτσια απλώς δεν ταίριαξαν στις ανάγκες μου.
I am a truck driver and I wear them every day, I bought them in November and the right shoe "opened" in late April, possibly because it was touching the engine cover. As a shoe, it is very good for its price and it doesn't tire my feet, I highly recommend it and of course I will buy them again!
Είμαι οδηγός φορτηγού και τα φοράω καθημερινά, τα αγόρασα τον Νοέμβριο και το δεξί παπούτσι "άνοιξε" στα τέλη Απριλίου, πιθανόν γιατί ακούμπαγε στο κάλυμμα του κινητήρα, Σαν παπούτσι είναι πολύ καλό για τα λεφτά του και δεν μου κουράζει τα πόδια, το προτείνω ανεπιφύλαχτα και φυσικά θα τα ξαναπάρω!
They are worth their money in terms of quality, but be careful: they are a hard shoe. This means that if you weigh less than 70 kilograms, they will never soften and they will hit your feet so hard that you won't be able to wear them.
Other than that, they are indeed an S3 shoe, but their construction is more suitable for workshops, ships, gas stations, NOT for construction.
Ανταποκρίνονται στα χρήματα τους όσον αφορά την ποιότητα αλλά προσοχή: είναι σκληρό παπούτσι. Που σημαίνει πως αν δεν είσαι περισσότερο απο 70 κιλά, το αποτέλεσμα θα είναι να μην μαλακώσουν ποτέ και θα σε χτυπάνε τόσο πολύ στα πόδια σε βαθμό που δεν θα μπορείς να τα φορέσεις.
Κατά τα άλλα, είναι S3 παπούτσι όντως αλλά η κατασκευή του προτείνεται περισσότερο για συνεργεία, καράβια, βενζινάδικα ΚΑΙ ΟΧΙ για οικοδομή.
They lasted 9 months on the construction site. The seams opened on the 8th month. The sole underneath started wearing out a lot after the 5th month. Overall, I would not recommend them for construction. They don't hold up.

It is a decent work shoe and honest for its price. It is not the lightest, but not heavy either. Overall, quite comfortable for a work shoe. It's fine

Very good shoe, comfortable, lightweight, and very durable! The only negative is that the "leather" is sensitive and peels off. Also, the seams on the tongue are not 100% waterproof, so there is a small issue in heavy water.

I bought them a year ago. They lasted without much wear and tear. They came apart and ripped on the sides. I couldn't wear them every day because of what would happen to them. Much fuss over nothing. It's a shame because they look nice

The most uncomfortable work shoe I have ever purchased, I gave up on it within a week and thankfully bought another pair for 20 € and my feet and body calmed down

The shoes are very comfortable and durable, they withstand dust and heavy objects falling on them, the laces don't easily break. The negative aspect is that they become heavy after wearing them for a few hours. Another thing is that the leather they have requires maintenance. You need to treat it with some kind of leather dye, otherwise they won't last long.
Τα παπούτσια είναι πολυ καλά άνετα αντέχουν σε σκόνες,πτώσεις βαρέων πραγμάτων τα κορδόνια δεν κόβουν εύκολα το αρνητικό ειναι οτι με τις ωρες καταντανε βαριά.

I wear it for a month at a construction site in the mountains with regular athletic socks and with temperatures ranging from -4 to 0 degrees for 8-9 hours, the shoe is warm. It doesn't burn my foot, but compared to what I had before, it keeps my feet at a very comfortable level. They are comfortable to the point that I now wear them while driving to work, which takes about 1 hour. In terms of waterproofing, I wash them after mud and such, under a faucet or in streams, and even though I feel that water passes through where it gets wet, it actually doesn't pass through, it's just that because the water is frozen, I feel it that way. So, the pros are that they are comfortable, warm, and waterproof. Today, I kicked a stone and gave them their first hit, and I hope they don't get wet. I clean them with water and a damp cloth every day at home!
I will probably buy them again if they prove to last for a year. They are work shoes, so let's invest in them and not in one pair every 2-3 years!
Το φοράω ένα μήνα σε εργοτάξιο στο βουνό με απλές κάλτσες αθλητικές και με -4 έως 0 βαθμούς 8-9ώρες το παπούτσι είναι ζεστό. Δεν καίει το πόδι αλλά σε σχέση με ότι άλλο είχα μου κρατάει τα πόδια σε πολύ επιτρεπτά επίπεδα. Είναι άνετα σε φάση που τα φοράω πλέον και στην οδήγηση προς τη δουλειά δλδ 1ω και.. Από θέμα αδιαβροχοποιησης τα πλένω μετά από λάσπες κτλ κάτω από βρύση ή μέσα σε ρυάκια και ενώ αισθάνομαι ότι εκεί που βρέχεται περνάει το νερό δεν περνάει,απλά επειδή είναι παγωμένο το νερό το αισθάνομαι έτσι οποτε στα συν είναι ότι είναι άνετα,ζεστά και αδιάβροχα.. Σήμερα κλώτσησα μια πέτρα και τους έκανα τον πρώτο τσαμπουκά μπροστά και ελπίζω να μην πάρει νερό.. καθάρισμα με νερό και στο σπίτι βρεγμένο πανάκι κάθε μέρα !!
Λογικά θα τα ξαναπάρω εάν αποδείξουν ότι αντέχουν 1 χρόνο.. Παπούτσια εργασίας είναι ας επενδύουμε σε αυτά και όχι 1 ζευγάρι στα 2-3 χρόνια !!
Perfect shoe... I used it in very difficult conditions on roofs, mud, and rocks that other shoes couldn't handle (they would tear apart). It's quite waterproof and even if water gets inside, you don't feel it as warm as it is... They don't slip at all!!! I also added a shcoll insole and it's really perfect... I recommend them!!! Now I will buy them again after 2 and a half years
Τέλειο παπούτσι... το χρησιμοποίησα σε αρκετά δύσκολες συνθήκες σε στέγες,λάσπες και πέτρες που Άλλα παπούτσια δεν κρατούσαν(σκιζοντουσαν) αρκετά αδιάβροχο και αν παιρνουσε νερό μέσα δεν το ένιωσες τόσο ζεστά που ήταν... Δεν γλιστράνε καθόλου!!! Πρόσθεσα και μια σόλα της shcoll και είναι πραγματικά τέλεια... τα συνιστώ!!! Τώρα θα τα ξανά αγοράσω μετά από 2μιση χρόνια
So, the first day I wore them after 2 hours of work in wet fields with wet grass due to the humidity, water got inside the boot. After 4 hours of work, the sock is almost completely wet

Very good boots for winter. Their size is a bit larger for my size, I wear 44 in sports shoes. Probably for summer you need one size smaller because you wear thinner socks.

I got them because for the last few years I've been working in fruit processing factories. Mainly for their basic property....FULL GRIP. With water on the floors or anything else, I needed slip resistance! And they have it! They are waterproof. In the sense that the foot does not get wet. And even though they have steel, they didn't tire me at all! I felt them light! I have no regrets about purchasing them!
Τα πήρα γιατί τα τελευταία χρόνια εργάζομαι σε εργοστάσια επεξεργασίας φρούτων. Κυρίως για την βασική τους ιδιότητα....FULL GRIP. Με τα νερά κάτω στα πατώματα ή οτιδήποτε άλλο, χρειαζόμουν αντιολίσθηση! Και την έχουν! Είναι αδιάβροχα. Με την έννοια ότι δεν βρέχεται το πόδι. Και παρόλο που έχουν και σίδερο, δεν με κούρασαν καθόλου! Ελαφριά τα ένιωθα! Δεν μετάνιωσα καθόλου για την αγορά τους!
