The phone you have plays a role... since the sound depends on the electronics (DAC) your phone has. Unfortunately, on some phones they might sound exactly like the cheaper 110s... However, their real quality is twice as good... Especially the bass. I got the 110s and they sound terrible...

Good quality, good fit in the ear with very good, balanced sound. Good bass. I previously had the JBL T110. The T290 are clearly much better. That's all.

I decided to spend a bit more for at least slightly better sound quality than the T110. But it's the same, and at the same time, these are less comfortable in the ear. When the 110s are available, I would say that these headphones are not a value for money choice at all.

While the sound is particularly good, there is a big problem with the headphones. Since their frame is made of metal and is heavy, they fall out of the ears very easily. This applies to all the ear pads.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am an audiophile. The headphones for 10€ do not have durability for everyday use and also with 10€ the quality is satisfactory. If you want better quality, buy something more expensive and at the same time more reliable. Search first, think about what you are looking for, and then make a purchase.

The headphones arrived faulty (the bass was not audible at all) and were exchanged immediately and quickly.

I mention this because I see others reporting issues with the headphones. Perhaps this means they have a higher chance of defects compared to others. Just exchange them right away.

The next package that arrived works very well and is exactly what one would expect at this price and type of headphones.

Compared to the cheaper T110, there are some differences in their sound profile, but do not expect miracles with such a small price difference. If someone asked me to choose between the two, I would have a hard time deciding.

The sound on the T110 is more "rounded" and "full," while on the T290 it is a bit clearer but also a bit "wooden." The bass sounds as it should and is more noticeable.

The cable is thinner and although the headphones are made of aluminum instead of plastic, they are not so heavy.

For everyday use, it is very good in terms of quality and durability. I have had it for two years and it continues to function flawlessly

Decent headphones. They played at low volume on my phone, which I somewhat expected because I had the same issue with Bluetooth for ear health reasons. But I entered EngineerMode, my phone had the Headset PGA setting at 104, I set it to 160 which is their limit, but you can't listen to music that loud for more than 2 minutes.
They have good clarity, you can distinguish musical instruments, etc. where possible, but with emphasis on the low frequencies, on Spotify I simply activated Loudness.
I hope they are durable over time

I bought them from a store and they sent me defective ones twice, so I threw them away because I got tired of dealing with that specific store. I bought them again from another store and finally I can have an opinion. The headphones are excellent, they have very good sound and accurate bass, and a very good microphone! Be careful where you buy them from, the lowest price might hide surprises.

Because I generally read that some people are disappointed with the sound, I wanted to say that it depends on how well they fit in the ear. I believe that their sound is very good, with a great bass performance. I was very satisfied with their durability as well, like everything, if you take care of them a little (don't pull them from the cable, don't mishandle them), they are very reliable.

I bought them and they served me for 1-1.5 months.... After that, they broke.... I wasted my money.... :-(

I got them as an "upgrade" from the T210 because they are metallic. Unfortunately, it was not just an upgrade. They do not have the same ear shape as the aforementioned ones, so they are much less convenient and generally tire the ears after a while. At around 7-8 months, the right one started malfunctioning for a bit and around 1 year, it completely gave up. In terms of sound, they were not bad, they emphasize the bass a lot (like everyone for some reason) and as a result, we have mediocre mids and often "squeaky" highs. However, a good equalizer improves them a lot. The wide cable and the angled plug are nice. The microphone is good, but at high volumes, it picks up the sound of the headphones and creates an echo for the person listening to you (which is extremely annoying). Personally, I would not recommend them.

The worst headphones I have ever bought. I bought them for 30 euros when they were first released and for their price they are not worth it at all. The sound is terrible, it ruins any song you want to listen to or any video you want to watch, the sound from the bass is so loud that it overpowers the artist's voice. They don't fit well in the ears at all, resulting in them falling out with every small movement.

I wanted them for a long time, guys, and I just decided to get them and try them out.
If you just want to listen to sound, it's okay, but if you want to listen to music with proper bass and midrange, unfortunately, they don't deliver.
Even the wireless ones from Xiaomi, the Airdots, have much better sound quality

I bought them five months ago and suddenly in the past few days they stopped working for no reason, neither a problem with the cable, nor pulling of the cable which I must admit is very durable. That's why I can't understand how a company like JBL, their headphones break down like this for no reason (the sound cannot be heard from the smartphone).

As headphones, they have lasted me close to 2 years with frequent use. The quality and bass are good, depending on the device you have. In some, they sound much louder, while in others they sound normal. Overall, I think they would be worth more than 15 euros. It's a good purchase, but they would be worth it at a better price

It is well-crafted, with a beautiful design, comfortable and lightweight in the ears (although due to their shape, they do not stay in place during intense head movements). The sound is balanced for general use (demanding users, especially in music, should of course look for higher-priced options). The inside-out sound isolation is satisfactory (note: it is not noise-canceling technology), the cable is flat but thin (sometimes it gets tangled, but untangles easily). The accessories in the package (EarGels and pouch) are always a plus. For the quality, one should consider their durability over time (mainly the reason for the 3-star rating), depending on usage, of course. Overall, for their price, they are a decent choice.

Very mediocre product as it does not block external noise enough and is not at all durable. It is not worth at all for someone to get headphones that seem reliable but ultimately break in a few months for no reason...

Good sound for a song, nothing special. They tangle relatively easily, but the worst thing is that it doesn't work well with Xiaomi 4x, works very well with Note 8T but durability is zero. In three months, suddenly one speaker became much louder than the other, despite the care I took. Get the ones for 7 euros, they are better.

The headphones perform well for their price. I highly recommend them. The headphones deliver good bass, although the treble could be better. If you're willing to spend twice the amount, you will definitely get something better.

Although the headphones have good sound quality and a decent microphone, they broke quite early, that is, two months after purchase. Specifically, the audio jack cable broke and the sound quality deteriorated significantly. The same thing happened with the previous headphones from the same company, in the exact same spot. If you want something durable, do not buy this product.

The best choice of headphones I have made. Their only flaw is that the metal got scratched, but I didn't buy the headphones for that. They have a strong bass and the music quality is impeccable, and the button works perfectly, which is a problem in most headphones I've had because personally it is very useful to me. Additionally, I use them on my PC to communicate with my friends through Discord, and after asking them, they told me that I sound perfectly clear, just like they sound to me. Furthermore, I have had them since September '18 and they still work perfectly. On a scale of 1 to 10, personally I would give them a 10 in recommending them to anyone.

Very good headphones from JBL once again. The sound quality and noise isolation of the headphones are the same as the previous version, the T110, but I believe they have slightly less bass than the others. Negative: you need new ones every 2 months.
