I did not buy the battery from Skroutz, but they installed this particular one for me at the iRepair workshop since the old one had almost 6 years of use and was now discharging annoyingly fast.

The compatibility is not the same for Redmi 7 and Redmi Note 8 even though they nominally have the same capacity, and that's because 4 months after the replacement, when the phone demands more power due to increased app usage, the battery does not respond ideally and causes the system to restart.

I think that even if I want to keep the Redmi Note 8 now, it's a gamble whether the battery that seems compatible will ultimately function normally, and that's because the new battery is quite healthy but does not cover the device's power needs in all situations even though it is a genuine spare part.

Within 2 months of purchase, it inflated and discharged quickly, a waste of money for this battery

I installed it about 3 months ago, today it has inflated so much that the lid doesn't close and it also discharges very quickly

The old one was giving 2200 and I decided to change it.
From a measurement I made, it still gives 2650mAh today and not 4000....
I have the impression (from the diagrams in the settings) that it drains even faster

I installed it by myself in August 2021. It gave me a hard time because it was the first time I put a battery in a smartphone. For the Redmi Note 8, it doesn't last as long as the factory one. With regular use, it needs to be charged every day. With the factory battery, it lasted me 2.5 days with regular use. I expected it to be like the factory one, but for the price, it's okay.

This review is addressed to anyone in need of a battery for Redmi Note 7.
THIS BATTERY IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH RN7. The battery for RN7 is BN4A.
As for the battery, I don't know, it didn't work for me, so I will give it a fair 3*.

Within a period of 2 weeks, it started to swell and the lid started to come off. Within a week, it has turned into a balloon.
